Da Nang and Hoi An Travel Guide in Vietnam!!!
Thành Phố Hội An
Wondering what to do in Da Nang and Hoi An , Vietnam? How to get around and enjoy the best viewpoints, sites, hotspots, and secrets there? You have found the right video!!!
After our visit to Da Nang; a clean, modern, and laid-back city, bordered by a long white sand beach called My Khe. The beach front is lined with top-notch resorts, restaurants, and quirky shops; the city night filled with lights and beaming with life, and even just outside the city, amazing nature and serene views we have selected some of our favorite places for you to explore. So without further ado:
1. Marble mountains. Just south of Da Nang and accessed by two cylindrical glass elevators lies a natural masterpiece. Marble and limestone rock formations bulge out of the ground and reach for the skies. Atop this natural marvel is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists, with temples, pagodas, and sacred caves. Having 3 distinct peaks, serve as amazing viewpoints of the mountains to the south and the city of Da Nang to the North as well as breathtaking views of My Khe Beach to the East.
2. Dragon Bridge One of the most unique bridges in Da Nang and the whole of Vietnam. It is constructed in the shape of a dragon and a shining display of lights during the night makes your visit worthwhile.
3. Son Tra Mountain. Largely covered with thick forest, Son Tra Peninsula is full of Beaches and spectacular views. Sightseeing, nature walks, wildlife sightings, eating and drinking in Vietnamese style are on the top of the list.
4. Lady Buddha and Linh Ung Pagoda. Being the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam at an astounding 194 feet, Lady Buddha is located near Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang, a short 5 miles away from My Khe beach, or 9 miles from Da Nang city center.
5. Beaches. The best beaches in Da Nang are known for their clean waters and sands. The more popular ones, such as My Khe and Non Nuoc are relatively close to the city centre. Less than 10 minutes away by car, they’re often packed with locals during weekends and public holidays. You can also find plenty of local restaurants serving fresh seafood and Da Nang specialities at affordable prices. Lounges and beach chairs are available for rent for about VND 40,000 per day ($1.74 USD).
Hoi An has quickly become one of the most loved tourist sight in the country. This place doesn't have any airport or any railway network and the only way to reach it is by taxi, motorbike, or the public (Yellow) bus. However, this is one of the most beautiful as well as the most pleasant locations you will ever find. Here’s our top 6 things to do in Hoi An:
1. Walk around Hoi An Old town
2. Explore the central market in the heart of the city and go SHOPPING!!!
3. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge
4. Try the mysterious street food
5. Visit the many historical temples
6. Walk around at night and enjoy colorful lantern
Catch a ride on one of the many river gondolas
Discover the amazing artwork including photography, painting and handmade crafts in the artist district

Danang to Hoi An | Vietnam
Today started with an early morning motorbike ride outside the city of Danang. Jeff took me to the local fishing village to watch them bring in their catch, and then we drove to an 800 year old tree!
Next, Jeff and Nancy were nice enough to drive us to Hoi An so we didn't have to take the public bus. We tried out a couple different coffee shops together before they headed back to Danang.
We spent the rest of the day walking, shopping, and eating in the ancient city of Hoi An.

VIETNAM TRAVEL VLOG | EXPLORING HOI AN | Is the Golden Bridge Worth Visiting?
This travel guide is a continuance of my travels through southeast Asia. This time we explore the beautiful city of Hoi An, famously known for its lanterns and tailor-made in Vietnam cloth markets. I absolutely loved Hoi An. It's a charming village on the coast of Vietnam's most incredible beaches. Come along with us on our last stop through Vietnam. Happy travels!

HOI AN| BACKPACKERS PARADISE
Tailor made suits for £50 and custom made outfits for £15 can mean one place and one place only: the Vietnamese tailor town of Hoi An!
Hello everyone!! In this weeks vlog we visited the backpacker haven of Hoi An! With cheap tailored clothes and vibrant nightlife located in a picturesque town, you can quickly understand why most people call this their favourite place in Vietnam, including ourselves. We wasted no time in getting into the swing of things in Hoi An, heading straight to the tailors to get some tailor made clothes. The whole process takes around 2-3 days so its important to get it sorted early to avoid disappointment - Tom ended up getting 2 suits and 3 shirts for under £150! Away from the beautiful river set town of Hoi An is a beach. Although not as nice as those in Thailand, it offers a welcome reprieve from the stifling heat of inner Hoi An. We spent a couple of days there enjoying the sun and the pleasant breeze, we also took the opportunity to break our jet ski virginity, firing the rickety piece of metal up and down the beach at 70kmph. In the evening, Hoi An town is a perfect place to enjoy a few drinks and meet lots of travellers, there are a host of bars offering cheap drinks and an interesting market selling different trinkets and some bizarre and revolutionary Vietnamese food! We were lucky enough to have our visit coincide with a Vietnamese festival so the place was awash with people dressed up and unique street performers. If you are planning on going to Vietnam make sure you check out Hoi An you will not be disappointed!

Hoi An Vietnam
If you want to see how to spend a lazy day in Hoi An, you've stumbled across the right vlog. The morning started with a trip to our favorite coffee shop to get the worlds best chocolate croissant. Then we continued on to the Cocobox for iced mochas.
After napping away most of the afternoon we emerged from our room ready to explore Hoi An's night market. We ended the night with an amazing bowl of chicken pho at the Hoi An Roastery.

Day Trips OUTSIDE of Hội An (Should You Stay in Da Nang or Hội An Vietnam??)
Spending a few days in Hội An?? Old Quarter is cool and all but after a few days it gets a little repetitive. We'd suggest renting a motorbike and heading 5 kilometers outside of Hội An to Da Nang. Loop in Marble Mountain with your beach day and you'll be in good shape!

Ancient Town of Hoi An (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - ???????? Vietnam - 4K Virtual Tour
Wandering around the ancient town, UNSESCO World Heritage Site, Hoi An in Vietnam. Click here ▶ to see highlights and guide.
(From Wiki).
Hoi An, once known as Faifo, with more than 2,000 years history, was the principal port of the Cham Kingdom, which controlled the strategic spice trade with Indonesia from the 7th to the 10th century and was a major international port in the 16th and 17th centuries - and the foreign influences are discernible to this day.
The culture & heritage is mostly from the Cham people whose kingdom originally stretched from Hue South to Phan Thiet (South of Nha Trang) - the Champa's most likely originally from Java. The original Cham political capital was Tra Kieu, the commercial capital was Hoi An and the spiritual capital was My Son (Hindu). The Cham people were Hindu, and by the 10th century the influence of Arab traders to Hoi An resulted in some converting to become Muslims.
The second major influence was from the Chinese, firstly from traders but especially the escaping Ming Dynasty armies who after settling in Hoi An for some years moved further south and created Saigon as a major trading port.

About Us:
I'm PJ. My partner, inspiration, trainer, chef, and moral compass, Risa, are what we (reluctantly) refer to as, digital nomads. I say, reluctantly, as I've been living the digital nomad lifestyle for about 15 years now (long before the term was coined, and became the cheesy trend it is today. It seems that everyone these days on vacation with a laptop, a pina colada next to them, Avicii on their headphones, and a dozen memory sticks filled with selfies now considers themselves a (don't forget the hashtag) digital nomad.
I started out at age 19. I quit my job at the time, to focus on the then still relatively unknown arbitrage business model as applied on eBay. Long story short, I saw an opportunity, invested all I had in it (time + money) and by my early 20s, I no longer had any interest in returning to Canada (where I grew up). I bounced mostly around Asia, for many years (all the usual nomad hotspots: Thailand, Vietnam, S. Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, with a preference for Japan (lived all over Japan, from Tokyo, to the most remote Japanese islands in the Pacific).
In late 2013, one of my returns to Tokyo, I met a captivating young woman, Risa, who helped me to re-calibrate my high-flyin', rock-star lifestyle and regain focus. Within a few months of meeting, she elected to quit her job in Tokyo and joined me on this nomadic journey. This channel, will document our perpetual traveller lifestyle. It's not always easy, it's not always fun. There are highs and lows. Sometimes money is very tight, other times it seems like it's the least of our worries. But when done right, the digital nomad lifestyle is a journey unlike any other.
Over the last few years, we generally stay off the beaten path and instead venture into areas seldom spoken about in digital nomad circles. You won't see us visiting Bali, Saigon, or Bangkok. Been there, got the SIM card, and still feel a bit hungover.
As we travel, we focus on personal growth, on disconnecting, unlearning, and thus thriving. We attempt to engage in philanthropy when we can. We respect the cultures kind enough to allow us to visit their land and their homes.
Feel free to send us feedback, comments, suggestions. Thank you for taking an interest in our journey. More videos of exotic places, stories, and people, will be uploaded weekly. As a demonstration of my gratitude to you for taking an interest in us, I will continue improving the quality of the content I create for you on a regular basis.
PJ, and Risa

Experience Hoi An, Asia's Hidden Gem.
Such a beautiful town it is in Vietnam. Nearest airport is Da nang which is just 30 kms from the town.
Japanese Bridge = One of Vietnam's most iconic attractions, Hoi An's Japanese covered bridge dates back to the 18th century and is a beautiful historical piece of Japanese architecture. It is claimed that it was created by the Japanese then living in Hoi An as a way to reach the Chinese quarter across the water.
The bridge was opened by Nguyen Phuc Chu Lord in 1719 who carved three Chinese symbols above the door in commemoration. The bridge also features the sculptures of two dogs and two monkeys representing the Chinese years in which many Japanese Emperors were born along with the fact that the building of the bridge began in the year of the dog and was completed in the year of the monkey.
