Пустельга – показательный вид птиц, это единственный пернатый хищник, способный благополучно жить по соседству с человеком. Пустельга сама гнезд не строит. Занимает старые постройки грачей и ворон, дупла, иногда гнездится колониями.
Эти маленькие соколы стали активно заселять наши города. Причем гнездятся они не только в лесопарковых зонах, но и осваивают новые для себя места обитания – ниши в высотках, а также вентиляционные отверстия на крышах наших домов, чем причиняют человеку беспокойство.
В течение трёх лет любители природы из 142 стран мира в прямой трансляции наблюдали за тем, как в белорусских городах своих птенцов выращивают удивительные птицы – сокола-пустельги. Эти маленькие соколы стали активно заселять наши города. В Гродно птицы гнездятся несколько лет подряд на фасаде Бернардинского костела, за статуей святой Елены.
Как будут жить вместе люди и птицы дальше? Какими будут наши города, зелеными или серыми? Какими будем в этих городах мы?

I really didn’t know anything about Lithuania before I visited (which is probably true for most people), but after spending a few days in its capital, Vilnius, I learned quite a bit about its Soviet history, while getting to enjoy how far the city has come in the (almost) thirty years since it gained independence.
Definitely would visit again.
