Honolua Bay Maui
Honolua Bay is one of the best snorkeling spots on Maui. It is very rocky and not a great beach for other activities. I saw huge turtles and multiple types of fish while snorkeling there.

Honolua Bay Maui
Honolua Bay is one of the best snorkeling spots in the world! There are huge sea turtles and an abundance of fish there! I apologize for the video quality. It was a little shaky and it was also a cloudy day. It's very rocky on both the beach and under the water. This is definitely a place for snorkeling and not enjoying the beach. I recommend Kapalua, Kaanapali or Wailea for soft sand. Aloha!

Honolua Bay is part of the Honolua-Mokuleia Bay Marine Life Conservation District. The snorkling here is supergood for sure. It's the full body tropical aquarium experience. Finding 3 ft sea turtles is not too hard as you can see. The beach is a privately owned rocky shoreline. Honolua Bay is accessible via a short jungle hike or by boat. Honolua Bay is also a favorite spot for experienced surfers.
