Horizontal Falls, Western Australia
The horizontal falls is a natural phenomenon created by water building up faster than the over side of the gap. Its Like an old fashion weight - you place a weight on one side, the other side rises up and as you lift the weight off it goes to the other side. The water build up depends on the tide.

Horizontal Falls: Part 2 : Horizontal Falls, Talbot Bay and Cyclone Creek
The view from the boat as we go through both the larger and smaller openings between the bays. Feeding the groper at the base with the sharks looking on waiting for their share of the morsels. The sharks were very docile and could easily be patted but it paid to make sure one kept one's fingers away from the sharp bits at the front end. They don't make much distinction between a piece of fish and a human hand. We set off along the bay and into Cyclone Creek where the batfish got a snack and the local baby saltwater croc snapper paid us a visit. Some more shots of the spectacular scenery and we head back to base,
The Horizontal Falls are salt water tidal flow directly from the sea. They are so called because at full flow there can be a fall measured in metres between one side and the other. It would be a great place to swim if it weren't for a number of creatures that would gladly have you for lunch.
My partner and I have done a lot of tours in a lot of places. We would both recommend this as the best value for money tour we have ever done.

What at adventure, we didn't really know how good this would be. We took off from Broome airport and landed in an inlet in the sea, the flight alone was a great experience. We got into a speed boat and were brought to a bigger cruiser for a BBQ lunch before the Horizontal Waterfall itself. We mounted the speed boat like you would a horse and set out for the big trip. The horizontal waterfall is actually here there is a break in the sea wall made of cliffs and the tide rises faster than it can flow into the inlet as seen from the overhead plane trip. We speed through the break in the wall up hill as it were through the rushing water. Amazing trip. This video gets a more exciting a minute in to it... :-)
Montgomery Reef Kimberley Australia - UAV
Montgomery Reef is an reef off the Kimberley coast of Western Australia. It encompasses a total area of 400 square kilometres (154 sq mi) making it Australia's largest inshore reef.
The reef is subject to unusual tidal movements to a maximum of 10 metres. When the tide is out vast lagoons, sandstone islets and a central mangrove island are revealed. The outward movement of the tide forms a torrent of water, creating a river cutting through the reef with hundreds of cascading waterfalls. At low tide more than 4 metres of reef can be exposed.
The area attracts migratory wading birds, feeding turtles, manta rays, black tipped reef sharks, and dugongs.

Stunning drone footage has captured a hidden Australian wonder known as the HORIZONTAL waterfalls.
Located on the coast of the Kimberly region in Western Australia, the massive area – which encompasses 50 square kilometers and over 800 Islands – is named Buccaneer Archipelago.
They are formed from a break in-between the McLarty Ranges reaching up to 25m in width, as seawater successively builds up faster on one side and is forced through the chasms in the red rock.
But that isn’t the only amazing sight at the parallel ranges - as with each change of the tide, the direction of the natural phenomenon reverses.
Tybias Smith, 26, from Mildura in Victoria, Australia, captured the stunning footage of the turquoise waters in September 2017.
