Ting Ting and I (Trevor James, The Food Ranger), made our way to Vietnam solely to eat street food. Since we love street food around the world, we decided that Vietnam was the perfect holiday destination for street food to try, because it's supposed to be the best and we love watching new street food recipes and street food flavors as we adventure down deep, back alleyways, getting lost into new street food worlds. So far, in our Vietnamese street food tour series, we've eaten street food in Hanoi, and then we took the sleeper train south 12 hours to Hue. Hue is the old ancient capital of Vietnam, and is packed full of different street food to try. We spent 4 days here eating and couldn't get enough of all the street food. Asian street food is the best, and in Vietnam, it doesn't get any better!
We found 11 different Vietnamese street foods in this video. If you arrive here looking to eat, you can follow along with these addresses:
1) Bun Bo hue @02:44- The specialty street food Beef and pork broth noodle soup of Hue, Vietnam - It’s absolutely rich and delicious! Found at the Dong Ba market early morning around 730am. Go to the outside of the street market and find the old ladies with big pots of good street food and you’ll discover a ton!
2) Bun Hen @ 06:10 Spicy Clam noodle soup - Also found at the Dong Ba Market in Hue, Vietnam, in the early morning! Just look around the outside of the market, the perimeter, not on the inside.
3) Banh Tam Banana Leaf @ 09:44 wrapped around marinated shrimp - Found directly beside the Bun Hen at Dong Ba market
4) Veg Soup @ 11:27 - Also found at Dong Ba Street Food Market in Hue, Vietnam
5) Bun Tith Nuong @ 14:37 Grilled pork over top of rice noodles. These was my favorite meal from Hue, and so cheap at 10,000 Vietnamese dong! Bun Thit Nuong 66 Bạch Đằng
6) Banh Mi Vietnamese Sandwich @ 17:55- This one was quite average. But still fun to eat! This one was at the intersection of Xuan 68 and Le Thanh Ton street inside Hue’s old city.
7) Douhua Silken Tofu @ 21:27 - This was a street food vendor carrying the food on wooden poles, so you have to be lucky at the right place at the right time. We were at the location below around 4:30 PM and she came along.
8) Banh Tran Truong “Vietnamese Pizza made from rice paper” @ 22:54. You can find this one inside the old city on 14 Le Thanh Ton Street in Hue, Vietnam
9) Banh Ep - Flattened rice paper dough with raw egg grilled @ 22:54 - Same location as the Vietnamese rice paper pizza
10) Nem Lui Vietnamese Pork Skewers @ 25:56 - These were found at 241 Huynh Thuc Khang - TP, Hue, Vietnam
11) Banh Xeo Vietnamese pancakes @ 25:56 - Same location as above, 241 Hyun Thuc Khang - TP. Hue, Vietnam

CENTRAL HERITAGE ROAD TOUR - HUE TOURIST VIETNAM
HueTouristVietnam is an International Travel Company (Licence: 46-017/LHQT), established in 2006. We are a tour operator and an incoming travel agency.
We also offer services such as cars rentals, hotel bookings, processing visas, and providing tour guides on demand.
Tailor-made travel
HueTouristVietnam organizes mostly private tours with a tour guide and driver. We personalize the tour according to your desires, allowing you to discover the beauty of Southeast Asia at your own pace.
Travel differently
Not only will you get to see the region’s renowned sites, but with HueTouristVietnamt, you can also escape the tourist crowds and discover hidden gems, areas rich with authentic local culture.
Solidarity and respect for cultural identity
Traveling with HueTouristVietnam means choosing an organization and a method of travel that is respectful of cultures, traditional ways of life, and the regional environment. The beauty of the landscape is fascinating, but it is not the most significant experience you will come away with. The best memories from vacations are usually the relations that we build with one another, friendship with people we meet, and discoveries that we make about the culture and life of a world very different from our own.
Our commitment
HueTouristVietnam is one of the first travel companies in Hue-imperial city, who engage one part of our business to support local development objectives in targeted rural plain and mountainous villages around Hue in order to enhance local economic opportunities, revitalize threatened cultures, and provide a genuine and memorable experience for visitors. This initiative helps to create new jobs and income earning opportunities for some of the poorest segment in the province, and at the same time provides opportunities to practice important cultural traditions of songs, dances and handicrafts that have been eroding as a result of the pressures of poverty.
Our commitment to solidarity travel is simple; it works around these four main ideas:
An awareness of the cultural and environmental repercussions of the tourism industry.
A wish to protect the authenticity of Southeast Asia’s unique culture.
A deep desire to help the most disadvantaged people without transforming or deteriorating their environment.
Taking real action on tangible projects that demonstrate our dedication to solidarity and the transparency of our organization.
Through our solidarity travel initiatives, we provide support for local communities; some of our initiatives are continuous, while others depend on the travel options.

Experiencing Local Life in Hoi An Vietnam
Second stop during our stay in Vietnam was to a charming lil city, Hoi An. Hoi An was a place we both really enjoyed and we stayed longer than most visitors to there to properly soak it all in.
During our time in Hoi An, we stayed at An Bang Stilt House. A traditional style building that's in a great location. It's a 5 min bicycle ride away from the beach and only a short drive away from Hoi An Old Town too. Plenty of Grab taxis to get us there. We had the most friendly and welcoming host ever (Kim) who made us feel right at home during our entire stay. We recommend ordering her home-cooked meals, they were so good!
An Bang Stilt House
Address: Group 4, Tan Thanh, Cam An ward, Hoi An, Quang Nam, Vietnam 563800
We also enjoyed a unique and special tour of Hoi An away from the tourist attractions and out into the more remote countryside of Hoi An.
Our tour of Hoi An, Vietnam was with XO Tours. This is a really cool tour company where all the tours are done on scooters and with friendly, knowledgeable, female riders (the company wanted to give females more job opportunities so created XO Tours) but the best thing is you get to immerse yourself in the local life of Hoi An and Vietnam.
We got to learn about the daily work lives of locals, try our hands at their craft and ended the tour with a invitation into a Vietnamese family home for an amazing home cooked meal. Definitely a great experience and one to try for yourselves if you're visiting Hoi An and looking for things to do.
We're here in Vietnam for a month, so expect plenty more food and travel videos to come. Stay tuned! ????
We love sharing our food and travel adventures so if you're enjoying our videos, come join our community and follow us by subscribing to our channel and clicking that bell icon to get notified each time we release a new video. Exploring the Imperial City of Hue | Vietnam travel diary - Flying the Nest Expedition
Lets start off why I even traveled to Vietnam in the first place. Most people don't think Vietnam as their first solo trip to SE Asia but I had this amazing opportunity come my way. I am sure many of you know Jessica (@heyitsjessvalentine) and Stephen (@sparrystake) of Flying the Nest ( and if you don't, well you must be living under a rock. Jess and Stephen are two Australian full time travel vloggers who decided to put together a Flying the Nest Expedition with On the Go Tours to Vietnam.
Not only are Jess and Stephen just as sweet and friendly in person as they are in their videos, they are such incredible people. And I am so blessed to be have had the opportunity to get to know them and travel aside them throughout Vietnam learning so much from them.
Over 8 days, we explored and had so many different adventures. This travel diary is a little different. I decided to create travel diaries for each stop along my 8 day journey. In this travel diary, we explored the ancient imperial city of Huê'! Hope you enjoy!

Queen Restaurant in Hue city-Highly recommended
Maybe the best food we had in Vietnam!
Nice French style restaurant with beautiful terrace. Staff is very friendly and the food absolutely amazing. We came back the next day with more people, and everybody became a Queen's fan. The red snapper claypot is a must have!

FAMILY TOUR OF VIETNAM WITH EXPLORE: ADVENTURE TRAVEL REVIEW VIDEO
This is a capsule review video of an amazing family holiday as we enjoyed a tour of Vietnam with small group travel experts Explore. It was a whirlwind fortnight of brilliance as we travelled across the country from top to bottom, visiting Hanoi, Mai Chau, Halong Bay, Saigon, Cu Chi, Hue, Hoi An, the Mekong Delta and more. The Vietnamese food was wonderful as was the culture, the cycling through paddy fields, the people, the scenery - it was just WOW! Watch the video and you'll see why. Better still, the price for this trip was really reasonable - good value adventure travel at it's best.

Talking about a trip to Hue on Tet holiday with Amazing English Tour in Quang Tri.
Transcipt:
Hello everyone. My name is Bao Ngoc. I am in class 5A, Ham Nghi Primary School, Dong Ha City. And today, I would like to talk about my trip to Hue last Tet holiday.
Last Tet holiday, I went on an interesting English tour called “ Amazing English Tour”. That is an English tour for kids and teens to practise speaking English.
The fouder is Miss Hai Oanh. She is intelligent and smart. She opened this tour because she wants that every students in Quang Tri can speak English well. The tour leaders are so funny, too.
In the morning, I woke up earlier than everyday at about half past five. Then, I put on my beautiful “ Amazing English Tour” T-shirt and jeans.
At 6 o’clock, my parents took me to the Quang Tri Theatre and the funny bus driver of the tour was already there. When I got on the bus, I was really surprised because there were no one on the bus! It means that on that tour, just only me came from Dong Ha City! So I am the special person on that tour. It took about 1 hour to go by bus from Dong Ha City to Hai Lang District to meet everyone on the tour.
At seven am, I got off the bus and the tour leaders adviced me something. At half past seven, we got on the bus and the wheels started to roll over to Hue City – A beautiful City.
At 8 o’clock, we went to Vincom Cinema in Vincome Hue Palace. We watched a film called “ How to train your dragon: The Hidden World”. “When Hiccup discovers Toothless isn't the only Night Fury, he must see The Hidden World, a secret Dragon Utopia before a hired tyrant named Grimmel finds it first.”. That is the main content of the film.
At 11 o’clock, we had a very delicious lunch in a small restaurant. Then, we went to Phuong Nam Bookstore to buy some comic books. I bought two comic books called “ Conan – The Popular Detector”.
At 2 o’clock, we moved to Imperial City to join the main activity of the tour – talking with foreigners!
I like this activity so much because it’s very interesting. I met a lot of foreigners. They came from France, Spain, Norway and Germany too. This is the fifth time I went on Amazing English Tour so I just talked alone, of course. I met Wastl Uta, a teacher from Germany. She was very kind-hearted and friendly and she always maked me smile. We talked together about 30 minutes! That was so amazing. The picture was so great. Uta also gave me her e-mail for me to contact each other too! We were so excited to talk together too, but the time was a little bit short to talk so we were sad. I felt so happy to meet Uta. Then, we took a photo together.
At 4 o’clock, we got on the bus again to go back to our hometown. On the bus, we had a lot of fun because of the leaders’ games and jokes. We were very tired and hungry after a long day with a lot of interesting activities but we were so happy because we have a lot of new friends. First, we stopped in Hai Lang District to say goodbye to some students who live in Hai Lang District. We had to say goodbye to Miss Hai Oanh and the leaders.
And there was just only me on the bus. I stopped in Dong Ha City at six o’clock.
From Hai Lang District to Dong Ha City, there were just only me and the bus driver. But it’s not worse like I think. The bus driver is very funny and he always made me smile on the bus. I think he is a very hard-working and he is so important on that trip.
Thank you very much, Miss Hai Oanh and the leaders for that day. And thanks very much, my parents for finding for me an interesting tour like this.
This tour is very special. After tour, I know some new English vocabulary and sentences. I learn some new things about the people from many countries the cultural of many countries around the world. In Amazing English Tour, you can find some foreigners and some interesting places. We can surprise in this tour, too like me, I had a highlight pen when I answered correctly the questions.
I want to go to Amazing English Tour again in the tour to Hoi An.
Now, we know why should we go on Amazing English Tour everyday. First, to make more friendships. Second, to know about the other countries' cultural. Next, To be more confident in communicate. Then, to get more knowledge about English.
And finally, to nuture our English passion!
I love Amazing English Tour!
Thank you for your listening.
