Hundred Islands Best Travel Guide - Alaminos, Pangasinan
This is the second time I visited Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan and enjoyed it, even more, this time around! The Hundred Islands has always been a fun trip just outside of Metro Manila because it is only 4-5 hrs car ride away. The best part is, you get to experience one of the old natural wonders of the Philippines.
When I first visited over 4 years ago, the place did not have a lot of infrastructures yet and it was hard for me to find decent accommodation close to the pier where the island hopping tours start.
When I visited this time around, I noticed a huge improvement especially in the infrastructure, and the islands have so many more activities that you can experience too.
From zipline to snorkeling, to cliff jumping or cliff diving, checking out the giant clams and cave diving as well. There are other activities such as jetski, helmet diving and banana boating which we were not able to try on this trip. We had a full itinerary of activities so maybe the rest of the water adventures that we did not try can be experienced when we visit again.

Travel to Pangasinan: Alaminos City, The Home of the Hundred Islands
Alaminos City is a city in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines, and is known for being the home of the Hundred Islands National Park, which is composed of 124 islands and is located off the coast of Barangay Lucap. Alaminos is classified as a 4th class city.
According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 89,708 people. The city was named after Juan Alaminos y de Vivar, former Governor-General of the Philippines.

HUNDRED ISLANDS HOPPING
The family and I took a trip to Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos, Pangasinan! This is a must see in the Northern Island of the Philippines! We were able to have fun on the white sand beaches, cliff dive in a bat cave, snorkel to see huge clams , coral, and lots of fish, and zip line! There are so many islands there that it's hard to even do all the activities that they have in one day! Definitely going back in the future!

While at the Wharf I tried to get some aerial view of 100 islands. We didn't go on the tour. :( We were here on Christmas and did other stuff.

This is the first part of my little Hundred Island escapade and day trip in the beautiful Pangasinan province, Philippines. In the City of Alaminos, this major attraction called 100 islands will make you feel like you're in true paradise! ????
Hundred Island National Park this pearl in Pangasinan is officially called. 100 Islands, which is a protected area actually consists of 124 (124 at low tide and 123 at high tide) cute little islands. On some of them you can have some cool, exciting, and/or adventurous activities that you can do; as well as some beautiful sights to behold from some observatory platforms. This one of the most highly recommended things to do in Northern Philippines for tourists and Filipinos alike!

Philippines is made up of 7, 107 islands and it's very difficult to choose which ones to explore first. But what if I tell you that you can hit roughly 100 islands all at once, yes the Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos Pangasinan is the place to go for an amazing island tour.
On our way back to Manila, we dropped by at Isdaan Floating Restaurant in Tarlac City for dinner. This is where I accidentally soaked my GoPro Hero 4 into the fishpond without its waterproof casing. It literally died, and luckily I did not only retrieved all the clips from the memory card but also managed to get my GoPro Hero 4 working again. Yes, I did the rice technique and bowala after 2 days of submerging my GoPro in a bowl of rice and it's finally working again. YES IT WORKS.

Nag island hopping kami sa Hundred Islands last January 2019 sa may Alaminos Pangasinan.
Sobrang ganda ng place and each island is unique. Pinakagusto kong island is yung Pilgrimage island which is where the giant statue of Christ is located.
I recommend visiting Hundred Islands during weekdays kasi madami daw tourist lalo na pag weekends.
