Perhaps the grandest in appearances in the string of 5 Tokushima Temples, though most of the buildings are recent. Temple 17 gets its name, Idoji - Temple of the Well, 井戸寺 - from the legend that Kobo Daishi dug a well here in one night with his staff. Temple 16| Kanonji - 観音時
