Hi, guys!
This week there were a few ‘break days’ from rainy season, so we decided to take advantage of the opportunity and check out an area our friend recommended to us called ‘Ikseon-dong’, at Jongno-3ga station in Seoul.
We weren’t quite sure what to expect from Ikseon-dong, but wow, it was SUCH a cool experience. It’s a neighbourhood with narrow little streets and alleys lined with traditional hanok style houses. It was really like going back in time walking through those streets.
The weather was SUPER hot and humid, so after venturing around for a while, we caved and ate some patbingso at ‘Sulbing’, a popular Korean dessert cafe. They have the absolute BEST patbingsu in our opinion!
Hope you all had a good week—thanks for watching! :D

Walking hipster's place Ikseon-dong hanok village│Seoul in Korea│4K 60fps POV
Ikseon-dong is a favorite place for hipsters in Korea. It is also the oldest hanok village, the only town in Seoul that was built before the 1930s. In recent years, young businessmen have come out with a lot of unique talents. As there are many beautiful and characteristic shops, it became a favorite place for hipsters as well as for men and women. :)

▶ It includes representative attractions in Seoul, but above all, I want to put videos on the streets of the general neighborhood along with large and small attractions in each borough of Seoul.,Seoul is composed of 25 'Gu'(borough) and 424 'Dong'. Each 'Gu' will be visited by attractions, markets, shopping centers, parks, and subway stations. I will often randomly choose 'Dong' to look around the streets.
I hope that this video will help you take pride in the neighborhood where you live, and help Koreans and foreigners from abroad to come closer to Seoul.
▶ 나중에 구분을 쉽게 하기 위해서, 가는 장소마다 다음과 같은 원칙으로 번호를 붙입니다.
*서울 대표명소 : 0-1, 0-2, ...

▶ To make it easier to distinguish later, I number each place I go with the following principles.
* Seoul's representative attractions: 0-1, 0-2, ...
* 'Gu' Number(See below): 1, 2, 3, 4, .. ...23, 24, 25

* 'Gu' Subway stations (with 0 in the 2nd, 3rd number): 1-0-0-1, 1-0-0-2, 1-0-0-3, ... / 2-0-0-1, 2-0-0-2, ...

Ikseon-dong's Hanok Village was first established in the 1920s, and with the passing of time, modernism caught up with tradition to create the unique atmosphere found here today. Despite its recent popularity as a tourist attraction, the village is still a lived-in neighborhood, home to many residents.
The twists and turns of narrow alleys may seem all the same, but each path is lined with attractive shops and cafés decorated with unique characteristics of their own. It's no surprise that these alleyways are referred to as photo zones as the colorful shops make a perfect backdrop for photogenic moments. There are no directions or guide maps within the village, so it's advised to take note of any shops or murals that stand out to use as path markers.
One of the many unique shops found in Ikseon-dong Hanok Alley is Vintage Bonnie. Vintage Bonnie specializes in selling handmade products with a retro design such as clothing, kitchenware, and other household items. A well-organized showcase of colorful and elaborate kitchenware can be found on one side, while a fine line of vintage-style clothing fills the other side of the store. A variety of goods are available at reasonable prices, including adorable fruit-shaped accessories and lovely animal dolls.
