Devil's Graveyard Cave, Corydon, Indiana, Feb 2013 -- Part 1
Just visited Devil's Graveyard Cave in Corydon, IN a couple of weeks ago. Had a pretty large group including folks from Chicago and the local area. Our group packed in 4 HID Flashlights with a combined illumination of about 25,000 lumens. The cave is a pretty quick trip. It's basically a main passage that leads to a huge room with lovely decorations. If you're into photography, it's definitely worth the trip. There is a 63' pit close buy for those who like to repel and climb.
The HID lights I brought were:
(2) 100W Farm & Fleet Mods
(1) 80W Barn Burner (my favorite light)
(1) 35W, L35 from Battery Junction

The governor’s plan to funnel billions of dollars into improving the state’s aging infrastructure won’t do anything for local roads. Ahead, more on how the money will be allocated, what priorities are included and what will be neglected.
Plus in a surprise move, the governor sent a letter this week to the state board saying he expects ISTEP scores to be down this year but that he doesn’t think that should affect teacher pay or evaluations. The letter seems to indicate a reversal in Pence’s position on accountability. Our StateImpact Education team joins us to explain the significance of the governor’s letter and what it will mean for educators.
Plus Indiana has one of the largest cave systems in the country – and the majority of it still unexplored. Next we take you deep underground, through tight passageways and into the darkness to explore a whole new world.
And, we have the latest headlines from across the state Friday at 6 p.m. on Indiana Newsdesk.
