Using Free Trade Zones to Sell Online In China
Selling online in China is a great opportunity to get a foothold in the Chinese e-commerce market. Over the past years a number of pilot Free Trade Zones (FTZs) have opened up to facilitate the need for Chinese to buy reliable foreign products. Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in 2013 and other 3 FTZs authorised in 2015 are the places where China is experimenting its reforms. Cross-border E-Commerce operations through the FTZs have boosted the access of Chinese consumers to EU products across almost all categories.
Join this webinar to find out how to use Free Trade Zones to sell your products online in China, optimise your logistics and operations to benefit from the changing rules. It will also discuss relatively new Cross-border E-Commerce Pilot Zones and provide insights into the exciting sales channels opening up for your products.
Update information on the numbers and locations of Free Trade Zones and pilot cross-border e-commerce areas in China (for slide 8): Besides the original 4 Free Trade Zones (Shanghai, Tianjin, Fujian Province, Guangdong Province), the State Council approved setting up pilot areas for cross-border e-commerce to explore new business models in China on Jan 15th, 2016. The new pilot areas will be located in 12 cities, including Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Dalian, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Suzhou.

From the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum:
As an important economic center and shipping center of China, a city well-known for history and culture, Shanghai will be gradually developed into an international metropolis of socialist modernization, building it into an international economic center, financial center, trade center and shipping center of the world.
The Shanghai Urban Master Plan (1999-2020) approved by the State Council in 2001 proposed to further develop along the riverside and coastline based on the development along the traditional Shanghai-Ningbo and Shanghai-Hangzhou axes. It also planned to continue the development in Pudong New Area, focus on building new towns and central towns, and take Chongming as the strategic space for sustainable development of Shanghai in the 21st century. The plan put forward an urban space outlay with multiple axes, multiple layers and multiple cores and a township system with four layers including central cities, new cities, central town and ordinary town, of which central cities maintained the open outlay with multiple centers.
The new round of urban master plan of Shanghai will follow the principle of compilation based on various opinions. It will provide the public with the all-course participation mechanism and means featuring all directions, multi-levels and various channels. The highlight in the innovation of public participation modesis (sic) the establishment of a public participation advisory panel consisting of representatives from all walks of life. They will directly participate in the consultation of key issues or phase achievements in the new round of urban master plan, which will reflect the opinions and advice of various social groups. Meanwhile, the public may grasp various information about compilation of the new round of master plan in an all-sided and instant manner through channels such as official WeChat, Weibo (microblog), and website. They may participate in the whole course of plan compilation and give feedback in time.

British universities set up shop overseas
Middlesex in Mauritius, Westminster in Tashkent: higher education is increasingly international

For countries like Malaysia, importing foreign universities offers a way to build institutional expertise quickly. Two decades ago, Malaysia began to position itself as a hub for higher education, seeking to attract students from around the region, as well as from farther-away Muslim countries, explains Sarah Deverall, head of the Malaysian branch of the British Council, which promotes British culture abroad. Malaysia now has more students studying for a British qualification than any country bar Britain itself. Others places have courted foreign universities for different reasons. Dubai, for instance, encouraged them to set up shop to cater to the children of its large expat population.
Despite support from host governments, dealing with a foreign higher-education system is hard work. Sam Weston, who works for the University of Reading in EduCity, admits that recruitment has been slower than hoped. It's early days, she explains. We're still getting the word out. Both Wolverhampton and Aberystwyth have closed campuses in Mauritius, after failing to attract students. Last year Warwick scrapped plans to build a campus in California, following difficulties in navigating local regulation. Others relied too heavily on the enthusiasm of individual university officials in Britain, and floundered when those people moved on.
Universities also have to adapt, sometimes uncomfortably, to local politics. In July an academic was removed from the management board of Nottingham's Ningbo campus—a joint venture with the Chinese government—after writing an essay critical of the 19th Party Congress, a meeting of government bigwigs. Restrictions in Malaysia mean there are no student unions on the British campuses there.
Partly as a result of these difficulties, most British universities selling their qualifications abroad prefer to get a local institution to do the teaching. But this arm's length approach is not entirely trouble-free. Some worry that the quality of education is not always up to scratch. The Quality Assurance Agency, which helps regulate British universities (including their overseas empires) says that malpractice is rare. But some university officials privately doubt that teaching is always equal to that found in Britain, as is meant to be the case.
All of this means universities are beginning to tread more carefully. There has been a move away from the hands-off model, in which universities provide certificates and little else, to more genuine partnerships, says Janet Ilieva, a higher-education consultant based in Britain.
A number of governments in big markets are also growing more cautious. Two years ago, Malaysia banned any new links with universities not in the top 5% of a global ranking. At the same time, China reportedly halted approvals of new joint-venture campuses. Expansion is also kept in check by the fact that universities are reluctant to do anything that might water down their British character. David Willetts, a former higher-education minister, has complained that he was unable to convince any university to create a vehicle to list on the stock market to promote a global higher-education brand.
Last year growth in the number of students studying for British degrees overseas slowed, to just 1%. But university officials don't expect the lull to last long. Some British universities are considering setting up continental campuses after Brexit, in order to sidestep expected restrictions on immigration. A looming demographic dip in the number of British 18-year-olds, and threats by politicians to cut tuition fees at home, are also making universities look abroad. As demand for degrees grows around the world, it is likely that British universities will become ever more international.

Auckland
The Auckland urban area (/ˈɔːklənd/, AWK-lənd), in the North Island of New Zealand, is the largest and most populous urban area in the country. Auckland has a population of 1,418,000, which constitutes 32 percent of the country's population. It is part of the wider Auckland Region, which includes the rural areas and towns north and south of the urban area, plus the islands of the Hauraki Gulf, resulting in a total population of 1,529,300 that is governed by the Auckland Council. Auckland also has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world. In Māori, Auckland's name is Tāmaki Makaurau and the transliterated version of Auckland is Ākarana.
The Auckland urban area (as defined by Statistics New Zealand) ranges to Waiwera in the north, Kumeu in the northwest, and Runciman in the south. It is not contiguous; the section from Waiwera to Whangaparaoa Peninsula is separate from its nearest neighbouring suburb of Long Bay. Auckland lies between the Hauraki Gulf of the Pacific Ocean to the east, the low Hunua Ranges to the south-east, the Manukau Harbour to the south-west, and the Waitakere Ranges and smaller ranges to the west and north-west. The central part of the urban area occupies a narrow isthmus between the Manukau Harbour on the Tasman Sea and the Waitemata Harbour on the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the few cities in the world to have two harbours on two separate major bodies of water.

Mahjong
Mahjong, also spelled majiang, mah jongg, and numerous other variants, is a game that originated in China. It is commonly played by four players (with some three-player variations found in South Korea and Japan). The game and its regional variants are widely played throughout Eastern and South Eastern Asia and have a small following in Western countries. Similar to the Western card game rummy, mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance.
The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols, although some regional variations use a different number of tiles. In most variations, each player begins by receiving 13 tiles. In turn players draw and discard tiles until they complete a legal hand using the 14th drawn tile to form four groups (melds) and a pair (head). There are fairly standard rules about how a piece is drawn, stolen from another player and thus melded, the use of simples (numbered tiles) and honours (winds and dragons), the kinds of melds, and the order of dealing and play. However there are many regional variations in the rules; in addition, the scoring system and the minimum hand necessary to win varies significantly based on the local rules being used.

SUMMARY
=======
The Hui people (Chinese: 回族; pinyin: Huízú; Wade–Giles: Hui2tsu2, Xiao'erjing: خُوِذُو; Dungan: Хуэйзў, Xuejzw) are an East Asian ethnoreligious group predominantly composed of Han Chinese adherents of the Muslim faith found throughout China, mainly in the northwestern provinces of the country and the Zhongyuan region. According to the 2011 census, China is home to approximately 10.5 million Hui people, the majority of whom are Chinese-speaking practitioners of Islam, though some may practise other religions. The 110,000 Dungan people of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are also considered part of the Hui ethnicity.
Their culture has distinct differences that developed from the practice of Islam. For example, as Muslims, they follow Islamic dietary laws and reject the consumption of pork, the most common meat consumed in China, and have given rise to their own variation of Chinese cuisine. Traditional Hui clothing differs from that of the Han primarily in that some men wear white caps (taqiyah) and some women wear headscarves, as is the case in many Islamic cultures. However, since the industrialization and modernization of China, most of the young Hui people wear the same clothes as mainstream fashion trends.
The Hui people are one of 56 ethnic groups recognized by China. The government defines the Hui people to include all historically Muslim communities not included in China's other ethnic groups. The Hui predominantly speak Chinese, while maintaining some Persian and Arabic phrases. In fact, the Hui ethnic group is unique among Chinese ethnic minorities in that it associates with no non-Sinitic language. The Hui people are more concentrated in Northwestern China (Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang), but communities exist across the country, e.g. Beijing,Xi'an Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Hainan and Yunnan.

Our employees are first who used coin test in Azerbaijan while handover of elevators in old Absheron hotel located in Baku City in 2006 by putting 1 coin vertically on the elevator flooring.
Later in 2013 we increased quantity of coins on the elevator flooring to 8.
After establishing AZKON Lift Company LLC in 2015 we started using coin test on elevator handrails.
By such a test we want to show our clients the quality of our installation and the quality of Brands which we offer to clients, HAS, XIZI or Shanghai MITSUBISHI.
