В 1896 году на месте бывшего яличного перевоза по проекту инженера Л. Н. Колпицына был построен однопролётный деревянный мост. Пролётное строение состояло из 10 дощато-гвоздевых ферм раскосной системы, пролёт в свету был равен 19,7 м. Основанием для моста служила стенка набережной. Характерными особенностями моста являлись его положение над каналом (для сохранения подмостного габарита пришлось построить с обеих сторон наружные лестницы для подъёма на мост), а также новое для мостостроения того времени использование ксилолитовых плит для мощения мостового полотна. В 1902 году мост был перестроен по проекту архитектора К. Бальда с заменой ксилолитовых плит дощатым настилом. В 1911—1912 гг. мост был перестроен по проекту инженера К. В. Ефимьева. Новый мост был брусчатым, подкосной системы, опорами для него служили трёхрядные деревянные сваи в двух взаимно перпендикулярных направлениях; при этом пролет его уменьшился до 9,1 м.
In 1896, on the former site yalichnogo transportation project engineer LN Kolpitsyna odnoprolёtny was built wooden bridge. Spans consisted of 10 Boardwalk Gvozdeva-diagonal truss system, span in the world was equal to 19.7 m. The basis for the bridge served as a wall of the embankment. Characteristic features of the bridge is its position on the channel (to save the envelope had to build scaffolding on both sides of exterior stairs to climb onto the bridge), and the new bridge construction for the time use xylolite paving the bridge deck. In 1902 the bridge was rebuilt by architect K. Balda with replacement xylolite boards boardwalk. In 1911-1912. the bridge was rebuilt by the engineer KV Efimeva. The new bridge was cobbled, Bracing system supports for it served as a three-row wooden piles in two mutually perpendicular directions; at the same time span it was reduced to 9.1 m.

Hundreds of activists held a march in support of Novorossiya on the National Day of Unity in St. Petersburg, Tuesday.
Organised by a regional office of the Motherland Party, the march was held under the motto We do not leave our people!
The protesters demanded Russian peacekeepers enter Novorossiya to protect civilians. They also urged Russia to send humanitarian and military aid to Donbass.

From the Naval Station you will pass by bus with guide from historic center of St Peterburg to the embankment of Fontanka river. During this short tour you will learn history of the creation of the city, landmarks, museums and monuments, which located along the route. Tour of the rivers and canals will starts at the center of the city. On the boat you will sail through the most beautiful waterways: Fontanka river, Krukov’s canal, Moika and Neva rivers. Cut by a network of small rivers and canals, the city will impress you with its magnificence during the boat cruise. By number of rivers and canals St. Petersburg ranks first in Russia, and has one of the first places in the world. Along these waterways there are a lot of palaces and the major attractions of the northern capital, many of which are the official symbols of the city like St .Isaac's Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress, the Saviour-on-the-Blood Cathedral, the Winter Palace and others. There are about 500 bridges (315 in the city centre,21 of them are drawbridges). This many more than in other cities famous for their bridges such as Venice and Stockholm. You will be passing underneath some of them during the boat ride. At the end of tour of the rivers and canals you will get a short tour of the center of the St. Petersburg after which you free to explore the city or return to the Naval Station. What was supposed to be a quick work trip to St.Petersburg grew into a rather challenging video idea - is it possible to see all the sights of Saint Petersburg on foot in the span of a day? What if the day starts in Moscow? And what if you need to get back home before 24 hours tick by? The short answer to all these questions is yes... If you get a bit creative.
I invite you to follow along as I take on the Northern Capital, as it's often called in Russia. The trip, by car, would take eight hours. By train- a little over ten. A quick flight turns into a five hour ordeal given airport security and traffic.
Thankfully, the Sapsan Bullet train gave me just the head start I needed to speedrun Saint Petersburg. When everything was said and done, I was back at home exactly 22 hours after I started, having traveled 1400 km by train and 32km by foot. I won't go into how many cups of coffee it took to fuel this random act of tourism.
I managed to capture all the most famous sights Saint Petersburg has to offer, but didn't venture inside any of them, with the exception of St. Isaacs Cathedral and its Observation Deck. The route I chose turned into a pretty good Meet the City kind of tour. Some of the footage I captured is really breathtaking, and I certainly hope you enjoy watching the sights of St. Pete as much as I enjoyed filming them. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch!
