A prayer for Iwaki, Fukushima
Here is Jon Petersen, a leader in the 24-7 Prayer movement (24-7prayer.com) and a man who grew up as a missionary kid in Japan, praying over the city of Iwaki, in Fukushima prefecture. Iwaki is located 25 miles from where the Fukushima reactor melted down, but miraculously, God has protected this city (the 6th largest in Japan) where radiation levels are normal. We are at the Global Mission Center, a base for a local fellowship, for teams of short-term volunteers to serve in the relief effort, and for prayer and worship.

三笠高校生レストラン
道内の公立高校で唯一の食物調理科単科校である北海道三笠高等学校の生徒が調理・接客を担当、料理やスイーツを一般客に提供し、腕を磨くレストラン（研修施設）です。調理部が運営する「まごころきっちん」では、三笠市をはじめ北海道の良質な食材を使用し、手間暇かけた料理を、製菓部が運営する「Cherie（シェリー）」では、生徒が試作から商品化まで一貫して行った洋菓子を提供しています。施設名は、生徒が夢に向かって大きく羽ばたくことを願って、フランス語で「飛翔」の意の「ESSOR（エソール）」と付けました。

化石発掘に行ってきた！ [ゆごサンド]
ゆごサンド（6歳）の初の化石発掘に動画です。
神流町恐竜センター主催の化石発掘体験に参加しました。
なにもかもが初めてなので、とりあえずよく石を見て、石を割っての繰り返しを続け、2時間で巻貝としじみの化石をゲットしました。
ゆごサンドもかずサンドも腕が痛くなるまでやりましたが、2つしか見つけられませんでしたが、すごく楽しい時間でした。
発掘後は神流町恐竜センターで恐竜のお勉強、思った以上に充実した内容で大満足でした。
