FIRST-LOOK-Inside-the-FEDERAL-RESERVE,-USD,-CASH,-GOLD-monetary-SYSTEM-Americas-Money-Vault-PART-1
FIRST LOOK Inside the FEDERAL RESERVE, USD, CASH, GOLD monetary SYSTEM - Americas Money Vault, National Geographic Full Episode PART 1
For the first time, National Geographic takes you inside the heart of the money machine to places that you're not allowed to bring a camera ...straight into the vaults of some of the world's largest stashes of what you want, need and bust your butt to get: Money.
Hidden deep under the streets of New York City, hundreds of billion dollars in gold bars are tucked away in a bunker that is anchored to the bedrock of Manhattan Island itself.
In the latest in a string of high-profile hacking disclosures, the Federal Reserve confirmed on Wednesday that one of its websites was broken into by cyber hackers in a breach that reportedly leaked the contact information of thousands of bankers.
While the central bank said the incident didn't affect critical operations of the Federal Reserve System, the disclosure is sure to fuel concerns about the cyber security of government websites and critical financial infrastructure.
The Fed hack appears to be tied to an Anonymous group that published on Twitter the credentials of more than 4,000 commercial bankers early Monday morning. The group, Operation Last Resort, said it received the documents via the FED.
Call it the Rick Perry gold rush: The governor wants to bring the state's gold reserves back from a New York vault to Texas.
And he may have legislative support to do it. Freshman Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, is carrying a bill that would establish the Texas Bullion Depository, a secure state-based bank to house $1 billion worth of gold bars owned by the University of Texas Investment Management Co., or UTIMCO, and stored by the Federal Reserve.
If you think gold is a hedge, or a protection, you always want it as close to the individual and the entity as possible, Paul told The Texas Tribune on Thursday. Texas is better served if it knows exactly where the gold is rather than depending on the security of the Federal Reserve.
Sadly, most Americans don't even realize that a private banking cartel has a monopoly over all money creation in this country. In recent years they have abused this power by wildly printing money (quantitative easing), and by making more than 16 trillion dollars in secret loans to their friends during the last financial crisis. Neither the Treasury Department nor the Federal Reserve believes that the law can or should be used to facilitate the production of platinum coins for the purpose of avoiding an increase in the debt limit
remaining alternative to Congress raising the nation's borrowing limit, which would utilize a loophole in federal law to mint a $1 trillion coin to be deposited in the Federal Reserve and ensure the federal government could pay all bills and debt obligations.

You can thank the reckless money printing that the Federal Reserve has been doing for the incredible bull market that we have seen in recent months. When the Federal Reserve does more quantitative easing, it is the financial markets that benefit the most. The Dow and the S&P 500 have both hit levels not seen since 2007 this month, and many analysts are projecting that 2013 will be a banner year for stocks. But is a rising stock market really a sign that the overall economy is rapidly improving as many are suggesting? Of course not. Just because the Federal Reserve has inflated another false stock market bubble Barack Obama has been president, 40 percent of all American workers are making $20,000 a year or less, median household income has declined for four years in a row, and poverty in the United States is absolutely exploding. So quantitative easing has definitely not made things better for the middle class. But all of the money printing that the Fed has been doing has worked out wonderfully for Wall Street. Profits are soaring at Goldman Sachs and luxury estates in the Hamptons are selling briskly. Unfortunately, this is how things work in America these days. Our leaders seem far more concerned with the welfare of Wall Street than they do about the welfare of the American people. When things get rocky, their first priority always seems to be to do whatever it takes to pump up the financial markets

Where And What Was the Hippodrome?
The New-York Historical Society and NYC Media, the official network of the City of New York, have partnered to produce a special series of one minute videos that feature the staff of the New York Historical Society as they answer some of the most captivating questions ever posed to them about the City's fascinating and unique history.
Opened in 1905, the Hipprodrome, on Sixth Avenue between 43rd and 44th streets, was willed as the largest theater in the world, seating 5200 with a stage twelve times larger than any Broadway counterpart. Unfortunately, large crowds were offset by high operating costs and the growing popularity of motion pictures over live performances. The theater was eventually razed in 1939.

Why Daycare Is So Expensive In America
Child care costs vary from state to state, even county to county. But there is one common thread across the country – it's really expensive. Both parents and child care providers are struggling to make ends meet with the rising cost of child care.
Raising a kid in America is expensive. The cost of child care has nearly tripled since 1990, which is more than the overall rate of inflation.
The price families pay varies from state to state, even county to county. But in many places, it costs more to send a toddler to day care than it does to pay for housing, transportation or even college tuition.
There is good reason child care is so expensive — it's a very involved, labor-driven industry.
But the tension around the cost of child care in the U.S. really boils down to who foots the bill. In countries like Denmark and Sweden, the government covers much of the child care costs. In America, the costs are generally shouldered by parents and providers.
Federal child care funding in the U.S. has been in a perpetual ebb and flow in response to cultural values. During World War II, the federal government came the closest it's ever been to having universal child care.
Now, with the 2020 election coming up, some candidates are making it a priority.
Watch the video above to learn about the history of child care in America and how rising costs are impacting families today.

The Truth About the Masonic Lodge
The Masons, aka Shriners aka Freemasons.
Are they a harmless bunch of old guys on mini-bikes in fez hats who run hospitals? Not quite. In this video, Patrick Coffin gives a quick history of the Masonic Lodge, what they believe, and why Catholics cannot participate in their occultic organization.
Modern Freemasonry started in 1717 in England during the dawn of the Enlightenment. It’s a hodgepodge of new age Rosicrucianism, astrology, theosophy, and traditions of cultic groups such as the Druids, Mithars, Egyptian priesthood.
Freemasonry also involves the taking of occultic oaths, keeping the truth of Freemasonry a secret, indifferentism, and the subversion of the Church and the state. Members also open themselves to gruesome deaths if they reveal the inner secrets of “the Lodge.”
Popes since Clement XII in 1738 have said the same thing: Catholics cannot be Masons.
Why Chicken Nugget Demand Is Flat
If you’ve lived in the United States for the last 40 years, chances are high you’ve had a chicken nugget. They’ve long been a staple for families — Americans ate 2.3 billion servings of them in restaurants last year, according to The NPD Group.
But Americans’ favorite processed meat could be losing favor with consumers — data shows that chicken nuggets are appearing on menus less often, and demand in restaurants declined from 2017 to 2018, according to NPD. Nuggets are even seen less often on the kids’ menu, where they’ve long been a mainstay for busy parents, according to Datassential.
Consumer preferences might be changing for three reasons: health concerns, media attention and new competition.
Chicken nuggets aren’t seen as the most wholesome protein option. When CNBC did an informal poll in New York’s Times Square, no one knew exactly what is in a chicken nugget. The products have also been at the center of bad press, including a debunked “pink slime” photo allegedly showing what nuggets are made of, and recent recalls.
Nuggets are also considered a classic, which means that they’re not likely to benefit from any product innovation.
Customers also may be buying more chicken strips. They’re seen as a more wholesome, grown-up version of chicken nuggets and are available more widely on menus. Restaurants have realized that customers are willing to pay a bit more for them, which means they have a higher profit margin.
“I don’t really see how they’re going to make a comeback in the future because it’s not a product that most restaurants, especially in fast food, drive their innovation around,” said Dean Small, CEO of Synergy Restaurant Consultants. “Chicken nuggets are an incremental purchase, it’s like an add-on.”
Chicken nuggets have become an American staple, especially among kids. However, due to recent controversy around the bite-sized snack, demand for nuggets in restaurants and grocery stores is flatlining.

George Westinghouse changed the face of the world with his inventions, patents, business sense, and personality.
Not a day goes by that we don't use something pioneered by George Westinghouse.
He is the forgotten role model that our country needs today to teach future generations of Americans that hard work and kindness pay off.
George Westinghouse was one of the most successful men in the world. A respected engineer, inventor and America's greatest industrialist.
He was a pioneer of the industrial revolution and played a leading role in turning the United States from a young agrarian society into a modern economic powerhouse.
The name Westinghouse has been a household name the world over for more than 100 years because of one man, his love of machines, and his desire to make the world a better place.
The accomplishments that George Westinghouse had in his lifetime had a major impact on the way we live today.
His work in the railroad industry with the Westinghouse air brake, the electrification of the world with Westinghouse alternating current, him being instrumental in developing natural gas as a fuel, and his impact on the shipping industry with the Westinghouse geared marine turbine engine.
George Westinghouse was known as a good person.
He always had a very good rapport with his workers. There was never a strike at any of the Westinghouse companies all the time he had control of them.
And, you know, that was not common back in those days. He certainly was not motivated by greed or money. He really thought that his accomplishments would benefit mankind. And that alone was a driving force for him. This film also engages in the power struggle between Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla.

hello friends today i will show you top 10 largest banks in the world. the world largest bank is Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, it's total assets is $3.47 trillion.
#top 10 largest banks in the world
1. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China: Established in 1984, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has quickly grown to become the largest bank in the world based on assets. Its current asset tally is a whopping 3.47 trillion. ICBC focuses most of their efforts in industry (the name kind of gives it away). They offer the majority of their loans in manufacturing, transportation, power and retail. This bank shows no signs of slowing down either. It reported a 3.3% rise in profit for the 3rd quarter of 2017.

2. China Construction Bank Corporation
The second largest bank in China also happens to be the second largest in the world. The China Construction Bank Corporation currently holds $3.02 trillion in assets. Playing the Victim | Historical Revisionism and Japan
Nazi Germany always seems to be our go-to villain whenever we depict World War 2, despite the fact that Imperial Japan killed just as many people. Japan also seems to be portrayed as a victim of the war rather than one of the main aggressors. Why is that?

VOA NEWS IN SPECIAL ENGLISH
January 8, 2013
President Obama has nominated former Senator Chuck Hagel to be America's next defense secretary. The president also nominated anti-terrorism adviser John Brennan to head the United States Central Intelligence Agency. Mr. Obama called the 66-year-old Chuck Hagel the leader that our troops deserve. He also said the Republican from Nebraska represents bipartisan tradition. Mr. Hagel served in the Vietnam War and was critical of the American operation in Iraq. President Obama praised spy chief nominee John Brennan for leading the effort against al-Qaeda. The Senate will hold confirmation hearings on both nominations.
American Secretary of State Hillary Clinton returned to work Monday after treatment for a blood clot. She spent three nights in a New York hospital last week after doctors found the clot in her head. The State Department released a photograph that showed Ms. Clinton meeting with assistant secretaries Monday. Later this week, Secretary Clinton will be meeting with several visiting foreign officials including Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Mr. Karzai is making the visit for talks about his country's future. The Afghan leader is expected to meet with President Obama and other American officials during his three-day visit. American and Afghan officials are debating how many American troops will remain in Afghanistan after 2014. That is the year when all international combat forces are expected to leave the country. About 68,000 American troops are in Afghanistan now. American military leaders want to keep 15,000 troops in the area after 2014 for training and anti-terrorism efforts. While in the United States, Mr. Karzai is also expected to visit the head of the Afghan Intelligence Service. Asadullah Khalid is being treated at an American hospital for wounds suffered in a suicide attack last month in Kabul.
Some of the largest American banks have agreed to pay $8.5-billion to settle claims of wrongdoing. The banks were accused of abuse in their efforts to repossess homes from their financially troubled owners. The banks reportedly did not take the required steps when dealing with home for closure cases. Ten banks agreed to the settlement Monday with the country's central bank and other federal agencies. Among the banks involved are Bank of America, City Bank and JP Morgan Chase.
Bahrain's top court has confirmed prison sentences given to 13 dissidents charged with plotting a government overthrow in 2011. The 13 are all members of the opposition. Most of them are also members of Bahrain's Shiite majority. Sunnis rule Bahrain's government. Eight of those found guilty were sentenced to life in prison. The others received terms of 5 to 15 years. The dissidents helped launch large anti-government demonstrations in February of 2011. The protesters demanded democratic reforms. They also called for what they believe is discrimination by Bahrain's Sunni rulers against Shiites.

VOA news for Friday, February 17th, 2017
Thanks to for audio and text
From Washington, this is VOA news. I'm David DeForest reporting.
President Donald Trump told a news conference in Washington Thursday that the media is painting a false picture of his administration as chaotic when in fact he says it is running like a fine-tuned machine.”
In a session marked by contentious exchanges with reporters, the president complained of unfair coverage of his administration's first days.
The media is trying to attack our administration because they know we are following through on pledges that we made and they're not happy about it, for whatever reason.”
On another topic, Mr. Trump said ousted National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was only doing his job when he made contacts with the Russian ambassador during the campaign. He says the reason Flynn resigned was because he had been dishonest with the vice president when he denied the contacts took place.
The president said he will issue a new executive order on immigration that will replace the last one which was put on hold by a federal court.
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations says the Trump administration supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Margaret Besheer reports.
U.N. envoy Nikki Haley made clear the United States still supports a two-state solution but is exploring all options for a peace deal that both sides would accept.
We absolutely support the two-state solution but we are thinking out of the box as well: which is what does it take to bring these two sides to the table.”
She said that ultimately any solution is going to come from the Israelis and Palestinian Authority and the United States is just there to support the process.
Margaret Besheer, the United Nations.
A bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced legislation Wednesday to prevent the Trump administration from repealing sanctions on Russia without congressional approval.
This is VOA news.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson took part Thursday in his first major international meeting, joining a gathering of the G20 foreign ministers in Germany.

Many governments accept the international driving permit (IDP), which allows citizens of a foreign country with a valid driver’s license to drive while traveling in a foreign country.
What Is an International Driving Permit?
The International Driving Permit (IDP) is a document that grants someone the privilege of driving a motor vehicle legally while abroad. It does not replace your government-issued driver’s license.
Essentially, an IDP serves as a basic translation of your driver's license. It is translated in 10 languages and features your:
Photo.
Full name.
Relevant driver information.
The following requirements and restrictions apply:
You must carry both your IDP and your driver’s license when driving abroad.
You must obtain your IDP in the same country that issued your driver’s license.
You can never use your IDP to drive in the country in which it was issued.
It is valid for up to 1 year (provided your driver’s license is valid for the full year).
International Driver’s License vs. International Driving Permit
You may hear the term “international driver’s license” or “IDL” used; however, this is an incorrect reference to the international driving permit.
When You Need an IDP
Many countries require drivers from other nations to hold an international driving permit to drive within their borders. Showing an IDP in these countries can prevent legal hassles such as fines and bail fees if you are stopped or in an accident and are unable to show proof of your eligibility to drive.
Note that while not all countries require IDPs, you might find it helpful to obtain one anyway. It serves as extremely useful identification because it is translated into 10 languages, so it can prevent communication issues during the process of ID checks.
