Leinenkugel's Canoe Paddler
Shagdog & Jammer made sure not to be caught up a creek without a paddle!
Brewed by: Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company Wisconsin, United States
In 1906, the Kolsch-style beer originated from the Cologne region of Germany as a crisp and light beer to combat the summer heat. Leinenkugel's Canoe Paddler is our take on the Kolsch-style beer that we tweaked with a touch of rye. Our spring and summer seasonal has subtle malt flavors, a clean finish and adventurous quality.

Leinenkugel's Hoppin' Helles Lager The Spit or Swallow Beer Review
Shagdog & Jammer along with P-Diddy are hoppin' the levels helles with Leinenkugel's Hoppin' Helles Lager.
Brewed by: Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company Wisconsin, United States
Traditional Helles-style beers tend to be a tad malty. Leinenkugel's Hoppin' Helles is our spin on the style that puts it a bit on the hoppy side with five all-American hops. It starts bright and citrusy with a nice tropical aroma that ends with a tangy spice finish.

Leinie Lodge
Join me in a short visit to Leinie Lodge and the Leinenkugel Brewery in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin.
We enjoyed the tour, just wish that pictures / video were allowed. (I have seen older Youtube videos where the tour was recorded, so it was either illegal or Leinies have changed their policy.) It is still a fun little visit, besides which you get to taste five different beers while browsing around the lodge.
(Yes I know there is a bit of backgound music in parts of the video, it was playing in the lodge while we were there, and I can't easily remove it. I do not have copyright to the music, I don't want copyright, I don't make any money from my videos, and I did not intend to record copyrighted music, that was just incidental to visiting Leinie Lodge. The intro/exit clips include music from YouTube's Creator Studio, and are provided by YouTube for video backgound music.)

A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat - Beer Review
BBA T-SHIRTS ARE FOR SALE:
After taking a few licks for their controversial Arrogant Bastard Ale video, the Mediocre Beverage Novices are back with a review of Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat. This is a fruity, fun wheat beer from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Does is really smell like Fruity Pebbles?
Partial Transcript: On Tap Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat.
Hi. My name is James Knott and this is your Better Beer Authority. Today we are talking about Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat from the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
The brewery was started in 1867 and claims to be the seventh oldest in the United States. It was bought by the Miller Brewing Company in 1988 and currently operates under the MillerCoors umbrella.
Sunset Wheat is a wheat beer with 4.9% Alcohol By Volume and 165 Calories per 12 oz. bottle.
The company recommends that it be served at 40 degrees Fahrenheit with a slice of orange to complement the coriander and enhance the citrus flavor of the beer.
Generally, wheat beers contain an ample portion of malted wheat AND malted barley. Wheat has more protein than barley and this protein helps create a thick, long-lasting head. Wheat beers tend to have a more silky or creamy mouthfeel and their light flavor makes them great summer beers.

Beer Review #19 Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss
Brewed by:
Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company
Wisconsin, United States
Style | ABV
American Pale Wheat Ale | 4.90% ABV
Did not enjoy this beer very much at all. Cheap, Watery, Quarter draft night Type beer. High Drink ability, (not that I would want to again) but, if you're one of those that likes to get hammered, and are on a budget.. This beer might do ya some good. Small hints of lemon and honey inside of a watery pool of cheap beer-like substance. Try it out for yourself and let me know what YOU think!!

The story of Chippewa Falls is ever changing, just like the waters of the Chippewa River and Big Eddy Spring. But water isn't the only thing that flows in The Chip. Beer has been filling cups in Chippewa Falls since it became home to the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company in 1867. This otherwise sleepy town was site of the world's largest lumber mill. The hard-working, thirsty lumberjacks made great customers for Jacob and business partner, John Miller. The rest, as they say, is history.
