TransformUCT Assembly 25 March 2015, Cape Town, South Africa
TransformUCT - University Assembly on 25 March 2015, allowing for (academic and support) staff and students to air their views on the #RhodesMustFall debate. As a UCT news post named it afterwards:A cry for transformation rang out at a packed assembly: Heritage, signs and symbolism were superceded by the harder issues synonymous with transformation at the University of Cape Town in a jam-packed Jameson Hall. These were equity, institutional culture and racism, curricula, higher education, and colonization [that is, COLONIALITY].

Robert F. Kennedy's 'Day of Affirmation Address' (aka A Tiny Ripple of Hope) at Cape Town University. Delivered on June 6th 1966, Jameson Hall, Cape Town, South Africa.
I made this video of RFK's speech because at the time, 8yrs ago, I had searched & searched all over YouTube trying to find a video on here which offered this FULL version, but there were none.. So, feeling that this speech was SO poignant & powerful, all the way through frm beginning to end, I was compelled to make this contribution to YouTube's library in order to help share his words with the world. --- So I hope you enjoy listening to it, are moved by what Bobby said, as I was.. And remember that IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO SEEK A NEWER WORLD.
You can find & download the audio & the full text of this wonderful speech at...
