CUBA (El Arrecife Secreto del Caribe)
El aislamiento político de Cuba a lo largo de los últimos cincuenta años ha dado como resultado la aparición de una reserva marina sorprendente: un inmenso sistema de intrincados arrecifes conocido como los Jardines de la Reina. En su día fue el lugar de buceo predilecto y privado de Fidel Castro, y el inmaculado entorno subacuático se conserva intacto. This 40+ minute video is much longer than I usually post, but it is primarily for the participants on our trip. A list of the dive sites is printed below for quick access. We thank the crew of the Jardines Aggressor II for a terrific adventure exploring the Jardines de la Reina coral reefs. It is heartening to see groupers, sharks and even lobsters in great numbers on these reefs!
