Cztery mile za Warszawą - Four Miles from Warsaw is an old Polish Traditional Polish folk song that Katy's Polish Grandma used to sing --- here she sings the song as part of an encore of her concert performance at the Jazz Cafe at the POSK, Polish Centre in Hammersmith, London to welcome the Polish Olympic Athletic Team in the Summer of 2012.

Exchanging Worlds Ensemble 'AYM 1001' @ London Jazz Festival 2013. Exchanging Worlds brings together 20 unbelievably talented young musicians (under 18) from the East of England -- part of Aldeburgh Young Musicians. Created for the London 2012 Festival, the ensemble made its debut at Latitude Festival 2012 and captures the sheer talent and raw energy of its young members, collaborating with some of the UK's most exciting music and digital artists.
With material developed by the group that crosses musical boundaries from jazz to world music, they are accompanied by visuals and installations. Collaborating artists include director Jan Hendrickse and Tim Steiner.

A duet of the two musical individuals representing Slavic Romanticism and tender tones of the flute together with Italian temperament and versatility of the piano's tone.

OCTAVIA (born Oktawia Kawęcka) is a singer, flutist, composer and
producer. OCTAVIA graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music
in Warsaw, Poland, and received scholarships from the Alfredo Casella
Conservatory in L'Aquila, Italy, and the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome
(C flute and opera vocals).
She has been awarded a number of prestigious Polish and international
music awards and has been invited to perform in concert halls around the
world.
With her debut album she won the 2010 'Music Lovers' Hope of the Year Jazz
Grand Prix during The Jazz Oscar Awards Ceremony.
In the recent years Octavia has been cooperating with the London group of musicians. Lately, Octavia has released several albums, e.g. 'Misticum with sacrum music, the Christmas songs. Also, PKP Intercity together with Octavia initiated a project called „Nessun Dorma dedicated to Jana Kiepura's memory.

OCTAVIA KAWĘCKA flecistka, wokalistka, kompozytor i producent. Jest muzykiem o niezwyklej ekspresji artystycznej i muzycznej wrażliwości barwowej. Jej korzenie muzyczne związane są z miastem Warszawą Ukończyła Warszawski Uniwersytet Muzyczny im. F. Chopina w klasie Fletu poprzecznego, a także otrzymała stypendium od The Alfredo Casella Conservatory -L'Aquila-, i The Santa Cecilia Conservatory- w Rzymie we Włoszech (flet poprzeczny i wokal operowy). Za swój debiutancki album otrzymała od krytyków nagrodę zwaną Oscarem Jazzowym w kategorii „Nowa Nadzieja. W ostatnim roku, związana ze środowiskiem muzycznym Londynu, stworzyła kilka albumów płytowych w tym z muzyką sakralną „Misticum , i muzyką bliską okresowi Bożego Narodzenia .
