Jemez Falls - New Mexico
Jemez Falls is located in the Jemez Mountains of the Santa Fe National Forest. The Falls are the highest waterfalls in the Jemez Mountains and are accessible from a trail that starts at the Jemez Falls campground and day use area. The overlook at the end of the trail is easily accessible and less that 1 mile hike round-trip.
Have you been to Jemez Falls? Where should we go next?

ABQ RAW took a break from technology and drove out to the Village of Jemez Springs on Sunday afternoon. We got on the road at 1:30 pm and were back at home in ABQ by 7:00 pm. One of the best things about living in or when you Visit Albuquerque Visit New Mexico there are so many places nearby where you can hop in the car and get out of town without a lot of planning. The leaves will be changin' soon so if you'd like some ideas about some places to visit in New Mexico to see the fall color visit

Fenton Lake State Park, Jemez Mountains New Mexico (August 2019) - 4k UHD
A simple travel video. Typically, I do a voice over and add some subtitles. Not this time around. This short video covers days 6-9 of my August 2019 New Mexico truck bed camping trip. The previous week I was camping and hiking in the Red River, NM area. Check out that video when it comes out. Thanks!

Camping Jemez New Mexico the 4 Spot
Memorial Day weekend May 26-27 2017
Forest fire drains Jemez Springs tourism
The Las Conchas Fire never really got close to Jemez Springs, but it's having a devastating impact on the tourist business there at the normally busy Fourth of July weekend approaches.
A Soak in the Jemez Natural Hot Springs and Atomic City Secrets!
We love a good soak on the road and since a bathtub is not an option in our 24' Winnebago View, we seek out natural hotsprings along our journeys like this one close to Jemez Springs, NM.
Welcome to our YouTube channel, Follow Your Wanderlust! Where we share some of our adventures, work camping tips and favorite spots.
We are Anja and Bob and we have been together for 28 years, we both have been born with the Wanderlust Gene and can't get enough of wandering and exploring this beautiful world. We have lived in California, New Mexico, Colorado and Hawaii, but have wandered many states and countries. We are Full-Time RV-ers and travel and work camp in a 2010, Winnebago View 24A Diesel Sprinter. We like to bring our 2012 Jeep Wrangler unlimited with us to explore where the RV can't go. We are not retired yet so we have to work on the road, we work camp at National parks, Forest Service and State parks and design some t-shirts and stickers and make some jewelry that are inspired by our travels. We will be selling those on our new website soon. We enjoy boon docking in nature or dry camping off grid along the ocean, in deserts and in the mountains. Our other passion is searching for treasures, one of those is a real Treasure Chest hidden by a fascinating gentleman named Forrest Fenn. We have been searching since 2013 and have filmed a few of our searches for you, so you can come along for the Thrill Of The Chase. Thank you for Watching and Subscribing to our YouTube channel, you can also follow us on our Facebook Page Follow Our Wanderlust and our Instagram Follow Your Wanderlust.

Camping in the Jemez Mountains, NM
Chelsea had recently put up an argument as to why we spent extra money on a new tent instead of just borrowing her dad's. My one man wasn't big enough for us and the dog... ten minutes after setting it up we got hailed on. She's a believer now. Her first (car) camping trip was a success.
Camping in the Jemez - Overnight Trip & A Huge Thank You
SEPTEMBER 3rd & 4th, 2011 --- Tried to go for a 2 night, 3 day camping trip in the Jemez National Recreation Area (Jemez pronounced: HAY-mez) for Labor Day weekend but I ended up only camping for an overnight before the driving rain caused the dirt roads to become extremly muddy. I ended up bailing from my camp the next morning in fear of getting my truck stuck on the muddy, unmaintained logging roads.

NM True TV - The Springs - Jemez
There’s a pretty good hint in the name Jemez Springs that the area is replete with hot water boiling up from beneath the earth. Turns out this gorgeous mountain range sits atop what was once a supervolcano. Michael and the True TV crew draw the tough assignment to test the wide variety of hot springs available and, in a very relaxed state, share their soothing adventures with us.
