Nestled in the far southwestern corner of North Carolina, Clay’s Corner in Brasstown is a colorful stop on a visit to that region. Join the open jam sessions every Friday night in the back room. An “elderly” gas station and sort-of convenience store, Clay’s Corner bills itself as the “Possum Capital of the World,” and indeed you can buy all sorts of possum memorabilia there.
