Astor Piazzolla in portrait (2004)
This documentary explores The Life and Music of Astor Piazzolla.
Astor Piazzolla In Portrait include the films Tango Maestro & Tango Nuevo; written, narrated, filmed and directed by Michael Dibb (as Mike Dibb) and produced by BBC and Tony Staveacre.
My music has all the primitive tango, from the bordellos until today, Piazzolla says in an interview taped before his death in 1992 and included in Mike Dibb's new biographical documentary, Tango Maestro. You can hear that underneath. On top of that music you can hear good music. But I think it's in my blood. I am a man of tango.
In The Central Park Concert (New York, 1987) Astor say:
This is the new music of Buenos Aires, the New Tango.
We started this music in 1954, my name is Astor Piazzolla, I was born in Argentina, i was raised the New York and my parents come from Trani, Italia.
This strange instrument you see here, many people said it's an accordion, it's not an accordion, it's a bandoneon.
It's an instrument that was invented in Germany in 1854 to play religious music in a church, it started in church, and then, a couple years later, they took it to the whorehouses in Buenos Aires, and now, we taking it to Central Park. It's a nice tour for this instrument.
It's not a joke, I'm not trying to be funny, it's the real life of this instrument, very surrealistic life, but, that's how Tango was born.
Tango was also, was always nightclubs, cabarets; like Jazz in New Orleans. It wasn't very clean at the beginning.
Today it's supposed to be clean because this is clean: people, free music and love.
Thank you very much, I hope you enjoy our music.

McLaren
The name McLaren is synonymous with motor racing excellence and stands today as a symbol for automotive superiority. Yet what is less known is that the brand was the creation of one young man from New Zealand -- a pioneer who followed his dream and who against all odds led a team to greatness and himself to become a motorsport champion and hero. Despite the tragic end to his life, Bruce’s legacy lives on and his vision, passion and drive to innovate continues to be at the heart of advanced motor engineering to this day. A truly inspirational story of a young boy from humble birth who dared to take on the elite world of motor racing and win. - ( Original Title - McLaren )

SUMMARY
=======
Conquistadors (; from Spanish or Portuguese conquistadores conquerors; Spanish: [koŋkistaˈðoɾes], Portuguese: [kũkiʃtɐˈdoɾis, kõkiʃtɐˈðoɾɨʃ]) is a term used to refer to the soldiers and explorers of the Spanish Empire or the Portuguese Empire in a general sense. During the Age of Discovery, conquistadors sailed beyond Europe to the Americas, Oceania, Africa, and Asia, conquering territory and opening trade routes. They colonized much of the world for Spain and Portugal in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
The Spanish conquistadores, who were primarily poor nobles from the impoverished west and south of Spain, began building up an American empire in the Caribbean, using islands such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Hispaniola as bases. Florida fell to Juan Ponce de León after 1513. From 1519 to 1521, Hernán Cortés waged a campaign against the Aztec Empire, ruled by Moctezuma II. From the territories of the Aztec Empire conquistadors expanded Spanish rule to northern Central America and parts of what is now southern and western United States. Other conquistadors took over the Inca Empire after crossing the Isthmus of Panama and sailing the Pacific to northern Peru. As Francisco Pizarro subdued the empire in a manner similar to Cortés other conquistadores used Peru as base for conquering much of Ecuador and Chile. In Colombia, Bolivia, and Argentina conquistadors from Peru linked up with other conquistadors arriving more directly from the Caribbean and Río de la Plata-Paraguay respectively. Conquistadors founded numerous cities many of them on locations with pre-existing pre-colonial settlements including the capitals of most Latin American countries.
Besides conquest Spanish conquistadors made significant explorations into the Amazon Jungle, Patagonia, the interior of North America, and the Pacific Ocean.

SUMMARY
=======
Brazil (Portuguese: Brasil Portuguese pronunciation: [bɾaˈziw]), officially the Federative Republic of Brazil (Portuguese: República Federativa do Brasil, listen ), is the largest country in both South America and Latin America. At 8.5 million square kilometers (3.2 million square miles) and with over 208 million people, Brazil is the world's fifth-largest country by area and the fifth most populous. The capital is Brasília, and the most populated city is São Paulo. The federation is composed of the union of the 26 states, the Federal District, and the 5,570 municipalities. It is the largest country to have Portuguese as an official language and the only one in the Americas; it is also one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse nations, due to over a century of mass immigration from around the world.Bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, Brazil has a coastline of 7,491 kilometers (4,655 mi). It borders all other South American countries except Ecuador and Chile and covers 47.3% of the continent's land area. Its Amazon River basin includes a vast tropical forest, home to diverse wildlife, a variety of ecological systems, and extensive natural resources spanning numerous protected habitats. This unique environmental heritage makes Brazil one of 17 megadiverse countries, and is the subject of significant global interest and debate regarding deforestation and environmental protection.
Brazil was inhabited by numerous tribal nations prior to the landing in 1500 of explorer Pedro Álvares Cabral, who claimed the area for the Portuguese Empire. Brazil remained a Portuguese colony until 1808, when the capital of the empire was transferred from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro. In 1815, the colony was elevated to the rank of kingdom upon the formation of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves. Independence was achieved in 1822 with the creation of the Empire of Brazil, a unitary state governed under a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary system. The ratification of the first constitution in 1824 led to the formation of a bicameral legislature, now called the National Congress. The country became a presidential republic in 1889 following a military coup d'état. An authoritarian military junta came to power in 1964 and ruled until 1985, after which civilian governance resumed.
