Florida Scuba Diving - Jupiter Drift Dive - GoPro Hero3 & Hero4
Scuba diving at Jupiter, Florida. This is my first drift dive and it was awesome experience. I'm sure it would be much better with great weather and video would have much nicer colors but I was lucky enough to get on the boat that day. Florida weather is unpredictable in the summer season and mostly it was rainy. I can't imagine how beautiful is out there when sun is shining. I used two GoPro's. Hero3 and Hero4 Back Editions with red filters and Switchblade2.0 GoPro Hero4 Macro lens by Polar Pro Filters.
I used Jupiter Dive Center for this trip and they did awesome job.

Jupiter Florida Diving Gopro
This is a compilation of several dives in Jupiter and Palm Beach Florida primarily from the weekend of December the 21st, 2014. The weather was phenomenal, blue skies with temperatures in the 70's and 80's, and sea swells only around a foot.

An introduction to Palden Sherab Pema Ling, Lotus Land of Glorious Wisdom, a Buddhist retreat center being built in South Florida.

Scubapro / Jupiter Dive Center Demo Event 2014
Scuba Pro demo event with Jupiter Dive Center saw numerous sea creatures at Scar Face dive site. This video centers on a specific resting mother Loggerhead sea turtle who likely had a busy night of laying eggs. As I rounded some soft coral, she actually seems to BLINK at me - as if to say I trust you won't hurt me, I am tired, and need to rest.

This is a 15 minute video of some highlights of Asa and my Dive Trip to Jupiter, Florida on January 21, 2017. We attended a Shark Awareness class in the morning followed by a coupole dives in the afternoon. Unfortunately we didn't get to see alot of sharks, but any day spent SCUBA diving is a good day. :-)

Time Capsule Flight 1887 to 1970
For centuries prior to human development, the barrier islands of
Florida were dotted with numerous fickle openings to the sea
that would open and close with passing hurricanes, and more
often with autumn and winter storms.
There are tales of the more recent inlets that appeared in the
'40s, '50s and '60s south of the present day St. Lucie Inlet at
Peck’s Lake and “Long Island” in the Jupiter Narrows.
Early maps and aerials of the area superimposed over Google
Earth imagery show exactly where these more recent openings
occurred and changes to the shoreline of Jupiter Island recent
decades.
The older and often closed Gilbert Bar Inlet will be the subject of
a separate video.

Jupiter Twilight Dive May 2015
Life Underwater divers went to Jupiter, FL on May 15, 2015 on a custom dive trip put together with Capt. SL8R. As always diving on the Kyalami was spectacular and the crew treated us to two terrific dives and one pampered surface interval. Our group of 19 divers (and one bubble watcher) saw sharks, turtles, lobster, and tons of other great marine life. We hope you enjoy spending a few minutes with us underwater.
