How To Save Money Using KLIA Transit Train
If you arrived in Kuala Lumpur International Airport, there are so many choice to get to the heart of the city, Kuala Lumpur. You can using cab, bus, online transportation, and the fastest way is using KLIA Express.
Unfortunately using KLIA Express is not cheap though, paying RM55 or $14 one way ticket is a bit expensive for some people. But there is an alternative by using KLIA Transit.
Both train is same, but KLIA Express will take you nonstop, but KLIA Transit train will stop in several station. The most important station you need to stop in Putrajaya/Cyberjaya station.
This station is in the middle between KLIA Airport and KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur.
In KLIA Airport, you need to buy a ticket to Putraja/Cyberjaya for RM9.40 or $2.41.
Then the train first stop in Putrajaya/Cyberjaya station. Out from the platform, go to second floor to get to Ticket Counter, buy second ticket to KL Sentral for RM14 or $3.59.
Go to the platform and will take you to the KL Sentral finally. And you just save RM31.6 or $8.10.

It is a recording of my transit procedures at KLIA. There is one part that is not in the video which is the search for the KLIA Train Express that one should take from KLIA to KLIA2. It costs 2 MYR and the train platform is a bit hidden. I will include it into my recording of my future transit there. If there is ... :D

Transit lama di Kuala Lumpur sama sekali tidak membosankan. Kita bisa loh keluar sebentar dari bandara dan menikmati kotanya sebentar apalagi memang kita sebagai WNI tidak membutuhkan visa ke sini. Jadi kemarin aku sebelum balik ke Indonesia, aku transit selama kurang lebih 8 jam di Kuala Lumpur di Terminal KLIA 1. KLIA Transit is a commuter rail service in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The service is one of the two services on the Express Rail Link (ERL), sharing the same tracks as the KLIA Ekspres. KLIA Transit stops at all stations along the line, while KLIA Ekspres runs non-stop between KL Sentral and KLIA.

Tutorial Transit Kuala Lumpur Airport | Free Shuttle Bus KLIA - Klia2 | Hotel & Food
Transit at Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA and klia2. KLIA is home for full service airlines and Klia2 is home of AirAsia Malaysian low cost airlines.
This tutorial video include 2 parts, First part is Transfer from KLIA to klia2 and second part is from klia2 to KLIA. If you have a connection flight at Kuala Lumpur then this video will give you an insight what is situation like plus an inside tour of KLIA and klia2.
First part KLIA to klia2
My transfer walk start from arrival hall satellite terminal KLIA 0.06 , then ride aerotrain to main terminal 0:14 . After immigration clearance please ride free airport shuttle bus to Klia2 0:31. In klia2, we can take a rest at Sama-Sama Hotel 0:51 in airside klia2 before leaving from Kuala Lumpur with AirAsia.
Second Part klia2 to KLIA
Start at arrival hall Klia 2 1:21 and after clear immigration we can take a nap at Tune Hotel Klia2 1:39, just walk in 10 minute from terminal. After that we can ride free airports shuttle bus from klia2 to KLIA 1:56 and get some cheap fast food 2:17 before leaving from Kuala Lumpur.

We are at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA) or to be exact we are in Kuala Lumpur International Airports Satellite Terminal. We have a European connection flight leaving from the Satellite Terminal so we are going to be spending a few hours in transit here. This video is a tour of the inside of Kuala Lumpur Airport (Malaysia's main passenger airport), the Satellite Terminal part of it.
The tour begins with us arriving at the airport from another Asian destination and walking off the aircraft into Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). We then begin a tour of the entire two levels of this airport building. Kuala Lumpur Airport´s Satellite Terminal is built in a circular dome which focuses around an indoor Jungle centerpiece with four Gate arms extending from it. Our airport tour begins on the ground floor where viewers are presented with the many shopping opertunities (Duty Free Shopping) restaurants, cafe´s and bars that are available to visit. The ground floor is also the location of the airport shuttle, The Aerotrain an automated people mover system connecting two stations, one in the Main Terminal Building and the other in Satellite Building A.
After covering the ground floor our Kuala Airport tour then moves up to the first floor which is the location of more restaurants, bars, cafe´s and a wide variety of Airport Lounges serving various Airlines. Upon completing the first floor tour the viewer then gets the opportunity to walk with us to our departure gate from where our flight to Europe will be departing.
