Rafting the Blue River in Silverthorne Colorado
Come along for an adventure over and on The Blue River in Colorado. You will get to see it from a bird's eye view where all the water is coming from and then get the perspective from raft guide and my buddy Brando down the rapids.
The Blue River is a tributary of the Colorado River, approximately 65 miles long, in the U.S. state of Colorado. It rises in southern Summit County, on the western side of the continental divide in the Ten Mile Range, near Quandary Peak. It flows through Breckenridge and into the Dillon Reservoir where it is met by two tributaries, Ten Mile Creek and The Snake River. From there the water is held and released back to The Blue River that continues on through the town of Silverthorne.

Upper Colorado River Update - The Whitewater Has Arrived!
The wait is over. After what has been an extremely cold spring with snowfall lingering all the way through the month of May in the Rocky Mountains, the warmth has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt into the rivers.
This week we head to Kremmling, Colorado to check in on the Upper Colorado River. This river has really filled up in the last few days and will continue to do so in the near future. Take a look at some up to date footage of this river and it's recent streamflow data.

Blue River, Breckenridge town run (~170 cfs)
Not too exciting, but there's not much (any) footage of this section.
I cut out all of the video where I was sitting in the eddies trying to catch my breath (the altitude really wore me out this time).
