Fun in the River
Close to Hua Hin (around 40kms) and not too far from Bangkok (around 130kms) is the Nana Resort and Spa in Kaeng Krachan National Park. The resort itself is modern and stylish, but its main selling point is the outstanding location. This short video was taken from the river bank at the resort and shows just how peaceful and beautiful a place it is.
Lots of fun can be had at the Nana Resort including fun activities on the river. In this video we see tourists rafting down the meandering river, a little Thai cooking (pad Thai) and some fun river jumping (we are not sure what it is officially called - sliding or jumping etc).
Kaeng Krachan National Park, established in 1981, is one of the largest national parks in Thailand. Kaeng Krachan is located on the eastern slope of the Tenasserim Mountain Range at the border of Myanmar. It occupies the western half of Phetchaburi Province (Kaeng Krachan and Nong Ya Plong districts) and a portion of northern Prachuap Khiri Khan province (Hua Hin District). The National Park has A LOT MORE activities than are shown in this video and it really is worth a visit as the vistas are mesmerisingly beautiful.

Phetchaburi Is Famous Of The Ancient Thai King's Palace On The Mountain And The Cave Of Thai Buddha Images inside. Moreover, You Can Enjoy Beach And Water Sports Any Time You Please.
Phetchaburi (Thai: เพชรบุรี (Pronunciation)) is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Prachuap Khiri Khan. In the west it borders Tanintharyi Division of Myanmar.
Phetchaburi is located at the northern end of the Malay Peninsula, with the Gulf of Thailand to the East and the Tanaosi mountain range forming the boundary to Myanmar. Except these border mountains most of the province is a flat plain area. With an area of about 3000 km² the Kaeng Krachan National Park is Thailands largest national park, covering nearly half of the province. It protects mostly rainforests in the mountains along the boundary to Myanmar, but also the Kaeng Krachan reservoir is part of the park. The only significant river of the province is the Phetchaburi River.
Several caves are found in the province, most notable the Khao Luang caves near the capital city. Illuminated by a hole in the roof several Buddha statues are placed in the cave.
