明治・大正・昭和初期にかけての俳人で、山頭火と呼ばれる。

규슈의 서쪽 끝에 자리잡은 히라도시로갔다. 먼저 가메오카산 위에 자리잡은 히라도성에 올라갔다. 18세기 초에 세워진 성이다. 가장 높은 천수각에 올라가면 히라도 시내가 한눈에 들어온다.히라도는 1550년 최초의 포르투갈선박이 기항한 이래 ‘서쪽의 도읍’이라고 불릴 정도로 풍요로운 한때를 보냈다. 멀리 사비에르 교회와 네덜란드 상관이그 시절을 추억하고 있다.

With a unique view of Mt.Fuji, the place looks like it was frozen in time with villagers living almost completely cut from the rest of the world. If you continue further down to the shore you will stumble upon a gorgeous rocky beach that will give you one of the best views of Mt. Fuji you can have, and it is by far one of our favorites. If you are looking from some more adventure the place also offers two small caves that may not be as breathtaking as the view of Mt. Fuji over the sea, but good enough for the curious minds out there.
