Kamogawa Japan Tourism. Kamogawa (鴨川市 Kamogawa-shi?) is a city in southern Chiba Prefecture, Japan.[1]
In April 2012, the city had an estimated population of 35,103 and a population density of 183 persons per km². The total area is 191.30 km².
【4K】Walking in Kamogawa town and Niemonjima
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Last weekend I found one request for Niemonjima. As it was in Chiba I decided it should not be far, well, I was wrong.
i got up at 9 and at 10am went to Chiba station as it was big transfer as i remembered from yesterday directions. And only after spending an hour to get there I found that the way to Futomi station takes another 2 hours and I missed a train and the next is next hour. So, I got to Futomi station only at 3:30pm.
Island is very small and the only way there is a hands-powered boat with pretty high price for two ways. But for such small island you can find here a shrine, a garden, small museum, a souvenir shop, BBQ spot, rocks and the sea.
After the island I flew a bit from the pier over the sea and then walked in Futomi town.

高瀬川、賀茂川、清水寺、丸山公園、知恩院、インクライン、南禅寺、哲学の道、半木の道、京都御苑を廻りました。
その賀茂川編です。
April 5, 2016, was a walk through Kyoto in search of Sakura.
Takasegawa, Kamo River, Kiyomizu Temple, Maruyama Park, Chion, ink line, Nanzenji, Path of Philosophy, of the Nakaragi-no-michi-Path road, was around the Kyoto Gyoen Garden.
It is the Kamo River Part.
Beautiful Kyoto: Kibune in the Snow
A lot of people have asked us if it ever snows in Kyoto. Well, the answer is yes, and when it does it’s absolutely beautiful! Though somewhat uncommon in the city center, you're more likely to experience a snowy Kyoto in the northern areas, such as Kibune village. However, due to the warmer weather this year, even Kibune, which usually gets covered in a blanket of snow, has only seen brief snowfall.
A couple of years ago we were lucky enough to capture the exquisite sight of snow-covered Kifune Shrine, and we are excited to share the winter magic with you all now. If you are looking to experience a sparkling white Kyoto, the coldest months are January and February. We can’t guarantee it will snow while you're here, but we can guarantee that if it does you won't ever forget it!

Japan rain,oto is located in a valley, part of the Yamashiro (or Kyoto) Basin, in the eastern part of the mountainous region known as the Tamba highlands. The Yamashiro Basin is surrounded on three sides by mountains known as Higashiyama, Kitayama and Nishiyama, with a height just above 1,000 metres (3,281 ft) above sea level. This interior positioning results in hot summers and cold winters. There are three rivers in the basin, the Ujigawa to the south, the Katsuragawa to the west, and the Kamogawa to the east. Kyoto City takes up 17.9% of the land in the prefecture with an area of 827.9 square kilometres (319.7 sq mi).
The original city was arranged in accordance with traditional Chinese feng shui following the model of the ancient Chinese capital of Chang'an. The Imperial Palace faced south, resulting in Ukyō (the right sector of the capital) being on the west while Sakyō (the left sector) is on the east. The streets in the modern-day wards of Nakagyō, Shimogyō, and Kamigyō-ku still follow a grid pattern.
Today, the main business district is located to the south of the old Imperial Palace, with the less-populated northern area retaining a far greener feel. Surrounding areas do not follow the same grid pattern as the center of the city, though streets throughout Kyoto share the distinction of having names.
Kyoto sits atop a large natural water table that provides the city with ample freshwater wells. Due to large-scale urbanization, the amount of rain draining into the table is dwindling and wells across the area are drying at an increasing rate.

Kyoto Event: 2018 Kitano Odori Dance Performance [4K]
The geiko and maiko of Kyoto, keepers of time-honored traditional dance and music, are concentrated in five kagai (geisha districts) across the city. Each of the districts performs a large-scale dance for the public once a year, and Kamishichiken district's Kitano Odori runs from March 25th to April 7th to usher in the spring. Two performances are held each day, at 13:30 and 16:00, and tickets cost 4,300 yen. For an additional 500 yen guests can enjoy a cup of green tea and a sweet before the play, which also comes with a commemorative plate. Tickets can be purchased online for those with Japanese credit cards, procured through travel agents, or reserved with assistance at the Tourist Information Center in Kyoto Station.
