Tokyo marks 20th anniversary of sarin attacks
A memorial service was held at a Tokyo subway station on Friday to mark the 20th anniversary of the sarin gas attacks by the Aum Shinrikyo cult.
Members of the cult targeted the Tokyo subway system on March 20th, 1995. Thirteen people died and about 6,300 were injured.
Officials at Kasumigaseki station observed a moment of silence at 8:00 AM, the time of the attack 20 years ago.
The victims' families and other mourners prayed and left flowers at an altar at the station.
A woman in her 40s said one of her acquaintances was injured in the attack and it must never happen again.
The wife of a Kasumigaseki station official who was killed said she hopes to prevent a recurrence of such attacks by continuing to speak about her experiences. She said she wants young people to think about what the cult members did.

????????????Walking around Tokyo Station (東京駅), Marunouchi Exit (丸の内口) at night, Tokyo (東京), Chiyoda City (千代田区), Japan (日本). I was walking around Tokyo Station, Marunouchi Exit which is the main exit of the west side called Marunouchi side (丸の内側). The building of Tokyo Station which is built by the red brick is the best looking historically and architecturally. It’s the greatest station I’ve ever seen. Please look carefully! It’s a beautiful and greatest architecture. In addition, there is some monument for the 2020 Summer Olympics (2020 Tokyo Olympics) (2020年東京オリンピック) in order to count the day which Tokyo Olympics is coming. “Served by Shinkansen high-speed rail lines, Tokyo Station is the main inter-city rail terminal in Tokyo. It is the busiest station in Japan in terms of a number of trains per day (over 3,000), and the fifth-busiest in Eastern Japan in terms of passenger throughput. It is also served by many regional commuter lines of Japan Railways, as well as the Tokyo Metro network.” from Wikipedia. JR East 209-1000 Series (Mitsubishi GTO) - Meiji-jingumae to Omote-sando (Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line)
The 209 series was once a major staple of JR East's fleet, with over 1,000 cars built. Most units, including this one are fitted with Mitsubishi Electric GTO-VVVF traction control system. About half of the entire fleet of 209 series remain in revenue service.
Two 209-1000 sets were built for through train operations on the JR Joban Line and Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. It is a small minority, considering that several more E233-2000 are in regular through train operations.
Through-train services from other railway operators operate on all Tokyo Metro lines except the two oldest ones (Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line). This allows travelers outside of the Tokyo Metropolitan area to travel directly into the city, although fare for each railway section is calculated separately. This recording features one of such rolling stock owned by these companies.

Tokyo subway sarin attack
The Tokyo subway sarin attack, usually referred to in the Japanese media as the Subway Sarin Incident, was an act of domestic terrorism perpetrated on March 20, 1995 in Tokyo, Japan by members of the cult movement Aum Shinrikyo.
In five coordinated attacks, the perpetrators released sarin on several lines of the Tokyo subway during the rush hour, killing 12 people, severely injuring 50 and causing temporary vision problems for nearly 1,000 others. The attack was directed against trains passing through Kasumigaseki and Nagatachō, home to the Japanese government. It is the most serious attack to occur in Japan since the end of World War II.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:

- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain

SUMMARY
=======

It commenced teaching in October 1873 soon after the teaching staffs arrived from Britain. The Graduates gradually replaced the foreign teaching staffs and led Japan's industrialization. Japan could not achieve modern scientific and engineering development without this college.
