Kaylana Lake is located 8 km west of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India. It is an artificial lake, built by Pratap Singh in 1872. The lake spreads over an area of 84 km2. In ancient times this region had palaces and gardens made by two rulers of Jodhpur - Bhim Singh and Takhat Singh. These were destroyed to make Kaylana Lake.

The lake is situated between igneous rock land formations. It receives its water from Hati Nehar (translation: elephant canal), which is further connected to the Indra Gandhi canal. The natural vegetation here mostly consists of Babool trees (Acacia nilotica), and various migratory birds such as Siberian cranes are seen here in the winter season. The city of Jodhpur and all the surrounding towns and villages depend on Kaylana lake as a source of drinking water.

Hey Guys, Welcome back to my channel. I know I am taking sometime but I am now back with the third episode of our Rajasthan travel series in which we witnessed the royal legacy of Rajasthan as we went to Umaid Bhavan Palace where #PriyankaChopra got married last year. This is a must visit palace of Rajasthan.
We then headed towards Balsamand Lake Palace. It is one the most costly Palace/Hotel to live in Jodhpur.
After that we went to Mandore Garden which as popularly known as Ravana's Sasural :). This place is believed to be the place where Ravan got married to Mandodari. After Mandore Garden we we ended our day with a Boat ride at beautiful Kaylana Lake of Jodhpur.

कायलाना लेक जोधपुर की सबसे प्रसिद्ध जगह है यहां पर बहुत सारे लोग आते हैं घुमने के लिए और पिकनिक मनाने के लिए और boating करने के लिए यहां पर सबसे ज्यादा भिड़ शनिवार और रविवार को होती है क्योंकि इस दिन सभी की छुट्टी होती है यहां पर बहुत सारे लड़के लड़कियां आते हैं कपल आते हैं मस्ती करने के लिए
इस झील का पानी पूरा जोधपुर शहर पीता है यहां पर पानी फिल्टर होने के बाद में एकदम साफ होने के बाद में जोधपुर शहर को सप्लाई किया जाता है और यहां पर जो है और दूसरी कई जगह भी है देखने वाली जैसे कि यहां पास में ही है एक सुंदर सा पार्क बना हुआ है इसे आप देख सकते हैं और इसके आगे भी एक जगह मंदिर है उस मंदिर को भी आप भीम भड़क मंदिर हैं और यहां पर पास में एक जूलॉजिकल पार्क बना है वह भी आप देख सकते हैं
यहां पर आने का सबसे समय अच्छा होता है सुबह सुबह का समय सुबह सुबह आप यहां पर आ सकते हैं काफी सारे लोग शहर से मछलियों को दाना डालने के लिए और आटा डालने के लिए आते हैं यहां पर सुबह 10:00 बजे के बाद में बोटिंग शुरू हो जाती है लेकिन कई बार यह बोटिंग शुरू नहीं हो पाती है तो जैसे मंगलवार को यह बॉटिंग कई बार नहीं होती है तो ऐसा है कि यहां पर वोटिंग होती जरूर है लेकिन कभी कबार छुट्टी रह सकती है यहां पर बोटिंग करने का मजा अगर आपको लेना है तो यहां पर आप शाम के समय में आ सकते हैं शाम को यहां पर 6:00 बजे तक 7:00 बोटिंग होती है
आज हम जब यहां पर गए तो कई सारे लड़के पानी के अंदर खड़े थे जो कि बहुत ही रिस्क वाली जगह थी जब हमने उनसे पूछा कि आप इसे कपिल क्यों खड़े हो तो उन्होंने काफी मजाक के अंदाज में जवाब दिया कि उनको तैरना आता है और यहां पर ज्यादा रिस्क नहीं है क्योंकि वह है जो नीचे पता है यहां सीढ़ियों है उनके ऊपर वह खड़े हैं
