Skye and David's Wedding in Ireland 10/10/14
We had a handfasting in my favorite stone circle in Kealkill, County Cork, Ireland. We were surrounded by such magnificent beauty, loves, friends, family, spirits, and FIVE cows! :D The cows arrived promptly 15 minutes before we began. We had a bit of rain before we started, then blue, sunny skies, wind, and rainbows after. From our spot on the hill, we could see the Bay of Bantry and into the village and the ancient castle ruin below. Every element of the earth and spirit was there...rainbows led us to our reception after we did photos at Gougane Barra and then went to Cork City. Kealkill stone circle is Beautifully situated 800 metres SE of Kealkil village the complex consists of a five-stone axial circle with a NW-SE axis, close by are two large standing stones with the same axis as the circle, the tallest of which is over four metres in height, originally this broken stone stood at approximately six metres high. Next to these monoliths is a now badly overgrown cairn, the cairn has a circle of small radially aligned upright stones. I apologise for the sound/wind noise. I couldn't figure out how to change that.
