LONDON WALK | Kensington Palace and Gardens incl. Broad Walk | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour of Kensington Palace and Gardens.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens. The route begins within the entrance to the gardens off Kensington High Street, then along Dial Walk to the south view of Kensington Palace, moving round onto Broad Walk to the east entrance to the palace, next across to the Round Pond, then back along Broad Walk towards Bayswater Road, where the tour concludes.
Sights seen along the tour include Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, King William III Statue, Queen Victoria Statue, and Round Pond.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded May 2017.

Kensington Palace London - Different Things to Do in London
Kensington Palace is all part of the Kensington Gardens that is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London. Kensington Palace is a royal residence that has been of the British Royal Family since the 17th century and it is currently the official London residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Princess Eugenie of York, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
Like lots of other palaces in London - and even the rest of the world - Kensington Palace is now opening its State Rooms to the public who could come in and inspect this beautiful old building that is also displaying some of the paintings and other objects from the Royal Collection.
There is a long history behind this palace and building which when the State Rooms were severely neglected, it was called for it to be demolished, but Queen Victoria refused to accept destroying the building in which she was born. In 1897, the Parliament was persuaded to pay for the restoration of the palace which was completed two years later, and at this time the State Rooms were opened to the public on the Queen's birthday.
Since Kensington Palace is situated in Kensington Gardens then visitors and tourists will also get the chance to visit one of the eight Royal parks in London which is situated just beside Hyde Park and which was also believed to be part of it back in the old days before being taken for Kensington ( There is also one important thing to be mentioned and checked while visiting the palace, which is Albert Memorial and which Queen Victoria asked for its construction as a memorial for her dead husband Prince Albert (
There are lots of palaces in London and even in the rest of UK and Europe which take your breath away just the second you lay your eyes on them and every single one of them will have its history and stories that might leave you astonished during your whole trip to the place. Kensington Palace along with its garden and the memorials that are found there is one of the places that we recommend for you to place on your list of things to do in London, you will enjoy walking around the place there.
There are different things and places to be done and seen in London and which might even go further than the list you have prepared, some of them will be from the top attractions of the city, while others will be from those which you will need to be a true admirer of or else one who digs deep behind the not-so-much-famous places that one will choose.
We have some recommendations for you if you are thinking about those places which you could visit in the city of London, such as checking Hay's Galleria and knowing about the history of it starting from being a wharf to ending up in this state ( going to the Great Scotland Yard and knowing more about this street in Westminster that carries this name and why it actually carries it ( visiting Churchill War Rooms which is considered a very interesting place for those who love to know more about the history of wars ( and this comes to discovering some of the childish places that adults still find interesting like visiting M&M's World Shop ( or going to the Shrek's Adventure Shop (
Visiting a new city is all about reading the story that has been written about it since it started to come out to the world, but the book which you will be reading from is not written in the traditional words kind of way, but it is written through the old buildings, old streets and all the museums, palaces and every other thing that might be staying there for a reason and for a long period of time.
There are specific things which people come to London in order to see and experience in real and even though it might sound ordinary to visit Big Ben, it could be a dream for someone else who has been putting down plans to reach this destination ( There are other destinations which we are sure about being in your long list and which will include Westminster Abbey ( Westminster Pier and the tour in the River Thames ( South Bank ( Royal Court of Justice ( and many more things which we could still mention.
Put down your plan now and visit Kensington Palace and know more about the long history this place carried and is still carrying.

Kensington Palace

Has Anyone Seen Arthur of Kensington Palace Gardens, Hyde Park, London, United Kingdom
These pictures were taken approximately 2 years ago during the refurbishment of Kensington Palace prior to the wedding of William and Kate. The older gentleman in the photos is Arthur, he has been going there and chatting with the squirrels for many years. He said that Princess Diana used to go jogging in Hyde Park in the mornings and occasionally they would have a little chat. The tour of the Palace was very cute and informational with girls dressed in period clothing and reenacting daily living that would have taken place there during different periods in history. here is a blog post about it.......
High Tea at London's Kensington Palace
High tea (or afternoon tea, apparently, based on your feedback!) is a quintessential – and delicious – way to spend an afternoon in London. And, you can take the London High Tea one step further with a reservation at Kensington Palace’s Orangery, which serves afternoon tea in a royal palace setting. Scones, sandwiches and pastries, galore!
Tea time takes about two hours (that is, if you’re doing it right!), and is definitely best earlier in the day so you can still save room for a London dinner.
Drink up, my friends, and enjoy this taste of London!

Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring Kensington High Street, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The route begins outside the entrance to Holland Park, then moves east along Kensington High Street, ending outside the entrance to Kensington Gardens, close to Kensington Palace.
Sights seen along the tour include a great variety of shops, bars and restaurants (including Byron Kensington, YO! Sushi, Snow+Rock, Metro Bank, Studio B, COS, McDonald’s, ZARA, American Apparel, TK Maxx, Wagamama), London buses, and the Royal Garden Hotel.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
