Actress Jennifer Lawrence was born and raised in Louisville, and she cheered on the Cardinals inside the KFC Yum! Center Saturday during the Bluegrass State showdown against No. 1 Kentucky. When she was shown on the scoreboard, Lawrence threw up an “L” to the crowd.
Lawrence also visited the locker room before the game.
Last chance for Livestock at 2016 California State Fair
The 2016 California State Fair ends on Sunday, July 24. That's the last day to see the livestock in the Tractor Supply Co. Big Barn. There are Long Horn Cattle, sheep, pigs, llamas and alpacas. This is a chance to get up-close with livestock and ask the owners how the animals are cared for.

The SOUTHEAST IOWA FARM SHOW at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center is rapidly becoming one of the state's best exhibition of agriculture machinery, seed and technology, grain handling and more to assist in today's farming operations.
Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey provided an update on Iowa agriculture and met with vendors and attendees at the exhibit following his address.
