Seaplane - Key West to Dry Tortugas via Key West Seaplane Adventures
During my trip to Key West I had the opportunity to go on a seaplane from Key West International Airport in Key West Florida to Fort Jefferson, Dry Tortugas National Park. It was an awesome experience. The entire sight seeing flight took around 30 minutes. We flew on a DHC-3T DeHavilland Turbine Otter. Look out for part 2 which is the return flight back. This was an amazing trip with really good friends out to Key West, FL. I never thought snorkeling would be this fun and didn't realize what beautiful things the ocean has to offer.
Fury Water Adventure was who we booked our tour with, so if you ever get the chance to go to Key West, don't forget to give these guys a call and you'll be happy you did.
Everything was shot from my GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition using 1080p Superview setting and was later edited on GoPro Studio for the final result.

Have you every want to know how to snorkel?! Me too! That's why I took a bus trip to Key West from Miami, FL to learn how to snorkel! The bus ride from Miami to Key West took about 4 hours... I slept majority of the way to save energy! Our bus fair to Key West was $40 round trip per person. The cost to snorkel was $40. We used this snorkeling company in Key West called Sunset Water Sports for our Coral Reef Key West Snorkel Tour. Snorkeling in Key West was amazing! The Coral Reef was a beautiful sight to see. Our Key West snorkel tour company offered the best way to Snorkel the tropical waters around Key West. It was a 3 Hour Key West Reef Snorkel trip that lets you see the coral reef. We had professional instructors on board the boat. Sunset Water Sports provided all snorkel equipment: snorkel mask, Snorkel fins, snorkel, Snorkel vest and swim noodles. After snorkeling, we ate the most delicious key lime pie from the best key lime pie bakery in Kew West, Kermit’s Key West Key Lime Shoppe! While we’re most known for Kermit’s Key Lime Pie, considered the best there is by Food Network, National Geographic, Paula Deen and others, Key Lime Pie is only the beginning! Landing In Key West, Florida - 2015 HD
We landed in Key West airport (EYW) in Florida, this was not one of the regular airplanes but the small aircraft that carries people around for pleasure. A very exciting aerial view indeed, saw many small Keys or Cays during this flight although I've added only a few in this video.
Key West is the southernmost point in the Continental United States and is a popular tourist destination. Locals often refer to Key West as a separate country called Conch Republic. Spanish speaking people also refer to it as Cayo Hueso meaning Bone Cay as this place was once a huge graveyard for native inhabitants.
Key West International Airport (EYW) is a rather small one with a short runway. Currently, over 400,000 passengers use the airport every year.
