Manali to Jispa Valley Road Trip Video | Keylong | Ladakh Adventure | October 2017

My dear viewers. Presenting you a small video from my video diaries of Ladakh. The journey is from Manali to Jispa Valley via Rohtang pass and Keylong. I am sure most of you have been till Rohtang pass. Of course the beautiful mountain which can be seen from Manali itself, offers great beauty and challenges from close up. I will be taking you across Rohtang La (or Rohtang Pass) and will be showing you what kind terrain, beauty and challenges you will face ahead. Oh between, While crossing Rohtang pass, you will cross Gramphu, from where it connects to Spiti Valley. Anyways, lets talk about the places we are going to cover in this short video. So Once you have crossed Rohtang La, you will reach Khoksar, a small and beautiful village of Himachal Pradesh. Between, before reaching Rohtang La, you will cross Marhi on the halfway. Marhi is popular for excellent eating joints and restaurants. Okay so from Khoksar, the drive till Sissu (again, a small and beautiful village) is extremely scenic and beautiful. The drive is along the beautiful Chenab river. After Sissu, you will reach Tandi. Tandi, for your information is the last fuel station before Karu (near Leh), distance is approx. 330 Kms. So, do fill up your car / bike tank here. Once you are done at Tandi, you will start climbing the mountain and soon you will reach Keylong. I find Keylong mountains, the most beautiful mountains on the Manali - Leh route. Lush green and snow capped, Keylong has a lot of scenic and beauty to offer. From Keylong, Jispa valley is just 45 min away (22 Km). Jispa Valley is one of my favorite destinations on Manali to Ladakh journey. Situated at nearly 10,000 ft. (or 3,200 m) close to Bhag river, offers breath taking beauty. The accommodations at Jispa valley is out of the world. You can find excellent hotels to luxury tents at a very reasonable price. Plus in the evening watching the sun setting with shinning snow capped peaks around Jispa is just out if the world experience. The wind, river, trees sounds takes you to another world.

My Ladakh journey starts from Delhi.In this vlog part-2 I had travel from Manali to Keylong.The road distance between Manali to Keylong is 117 km.In this part i had cross Rohtang pass by rohtang tunnel . Rohtang darra plain/field due to people working in CBRE dying in bad weather trying to cross the pass (elevation 3,978 m (13,050 ft) is a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km (32 mi) from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The pass is open from May to November. It is not particularly high or difficult to cross on foot by Himalayan standards, but it has a well-deserved reputation for being dangerousand many of rohtang pass story because of unpredictable snowstorms and blizzards.This pass is an ancient trade route between the people on either side of Pir Panjal. if you are not go far so you can stay in manali or manali hotels and enjoy manali paragliding and many of activities.
