Our first run down in Kilkee. First encounter with........ a hill
Hi and welcome to THE NERVE!
THE NERVE is a charity event aimed at making money for Multiple Sclerosis Ireland (MS Ireland)
“Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a demyelinating disease in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged.” - Thanks Wikipedia. It affects ten thousand people in Ireland and a massive 2.5 million worldwide. It is a progressive disease and currently does not have a cure.
The event is being run by (us) Geoffrey Carmody and Mary O’Connor. The plan is to run the Dingle marathon after just four months of training for it. The goal is to finish not to race. The race starts the 3rd of September giving 16 weeks of training.
We are going to try and get help along the way from anyone that would like to get involved. You can help by giving a hand on certain fund raising days, joining into the run with us (half or full marathon) or even getting into our weekly videos.
We would love if you would send in anything you might make or recorded in order to generate as much excitement around fundraising for MS. If you want to make a video yourself and send it in to support us and the end goal then even better!
The aim is to create an active social media presence including videos that people can view and follow along with. We will post our Training Plans and Eating Plans online so everyone can get involved.

The Cliffs of Kilkee Ireland - Paul Green Vlogs ep168
About a year and a half ago I worked on a television series called The Outpost. It was tons of work and I was hoping it would pan out to be more work for the future. They were re-upped for another season but basically we were ditched for a Serbian crew for the next season. Ireland was amazing still, I really loved it and am still thankful I got to play as much as I did out there while making a television show.

We took my mum for 3 trips. This was our first one - Kilkee Cliffs with a nice coffee/tea break, Bridges of Ross and Loop Head. We talked we knitted and we enjoyed our time together.
I am showing also how I do Afterthought Heel so check it out, .... and yes, I feel sometimes like a Dobby (Harry Potter).
