LONDON WALK | London Bridge to City Hall incl. HMS Belfast | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour from London Bridge to City Hall, including HMS Belfast.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person!) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring London Bridge to City Hall. The route begins in front of the London Bridge underpass on Montague Close, leading onto Tooley Street, then along The Queen’s Walk, finishing by City Hall.
Sights seen along the tour include The London Bridge Experience priority entrance, River Thames, City of London views, London Bridge, London Bridge City Pier, Hay’s Galleria including 'The Navigators' sculpture by David Kemp, Côte Brasserie, The Horniman at Hay’s, HMS Belfast, Tom’s Kitchen, The Scoop, ‘Black Bean’ sculpture, City Hall, and Tower Bridge.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded April 2017.

Poem to London: The Gucci Cruise 2017 Fashion Show
Held in one of London's most historical landmarks, The Cloisters in Westminster Abbey, the Cruise 2017 collection was Alessandro Michele’s ode to British culture and aesthetics. Rich in detail, embroidery and color the collection featured flowers from English gardens on a diaphanous silk chiffon dress and on top handle bags; King Charles Spaniels on skirts and plush coats, and the Union Jack in knits and loafers.
“I love the English aesthetic; I feel it is close to my own language. The collection is like a little poem to London. I have tried to put into it some of the pieces in my heart when I think about London: Victorian, schoolboy, crazy young noble guys and some romantic punk,” Alessandro Michele.
Music Credits: “Scarborough Fair“ sung by Schola Cantorum, the Liturgical Choir of The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, London.
Luxury Cruise Ship navigating the River Thames, London, England May 26, 2011
View from Elektron Tower of the luxury German cruise ship, MS Columbus, being guided by tug boats down the River Thames as she passes the O2 Arena.
The green laser visible in part of the film is being beamed from the Royal Observatory Greenwich and marks the Prime Meridian line. Just below and to the right are the domes of the Old Royal Naval College in Maritime Greenwich.
On the river front at the bottom left hand corner is the Virginia Quay monument. It was first unveiled in 1928 by America's Ambassador dedicated to the 'First Settlers' who had sailed forth from the meandering reaches of the Thames at Blackwall on a murky December's day in 1606 in three small Merchant ships. King James 1 had commanded them to bring him treasure and gold from the 'New World', the venture being financed by 'The Virginia Company of London'. The surrounding estate built by Barratt homes at the starts of the 2000s is thus named Virginia Quay.

Black History Cruise London: Windrush Day 2019
Preview of Black History Walk's three-hour cruise along the Thames from Temple to Vauxhall to the Thames Barrier and back exploring the hidden African/Caribbean history on display, which in some areas goes back 3500 years.
The double-decker boat starts from the Temple Pier and features unobstructed and spectacular views of both sides of the Thames riverbanks.
Windrush Day is a creation of the UK government in response to the embarrassing Windrush scandal of 2018 where Black people who had lived and worked in England for decades were suddenly deported to the Caribbean. The day is supposed to celebrate the contributions of the Windrush generation even though the illegal deportations still continue.
Check out blackhistorywalks.co.uk for information on upcoming walks and events exploring the black history and culture of Britain.

Ahojte! Dnes som tu s druhým vlogom z Londýna, kde sme navštívilu vlakovú stanicu Kings Cross st.
