Sailing Argo Ep 2 From Kjerringøy to Bodø
Two people exploring the northern parts of Norway in a sailboat. This time on Sailing Argo we are sailing from our home port to Kjerringøy. Kjerringøy is an old trading post in Northern Norway and here you can walk in buildings left the way they where back in the 1890. After Kjerringøy we sail to Bodø and get the chance to visit the Norwegian costal express or Hurtigruta which is the Norwegian name.

Patventure Time Norway 3: A Taste of Bodø
In the very first episode of Patventure Time Norway, I embark on an amazing journey, unlike any I've ever taken before. I board a series of planes to eventually wind up in Bodø, Norway. From there, I will travel on to the Lofoten Islands and, eventually, zig zag my way South through the whole country. This is the beginning of the best Patventure yet!

Norwegian .50 Caliber defence Bunker
Dette er en bunker for M2 Browning 12.7mm maskingevær (.50 Caliber) samt to skyteluker på sidene for håndholdt våpen, fortrinnsvis HK AG3.
Skyteskårene til håndvåpen dekker sidene og inngangen til bunkeren.
Bunkerne ble bygget som en forsvarsinnstallasjon under den kalde krigen for å forsvare et område mot en innvaderende styrke.
I umiddelbarnærhet finner man også flere enkeltmannshull ferdig utgravd samt andre forsvarsbunkere for å forsvare dette området.
This is a bunker for M2 Browning 12.7mm machine gun (.50 Caliber) and two fire doors on the sides of handheld weapons, preferably HK AG3.
Embrasures for handguns covers the side and the entrance to the bunker.
The bunkers were built as a defensive installation during the Cold War to defend an area against an invading force.
In the immediate vicinity there are also several single manhole excavated and finished second defense bunkers to defend this area.

Bunker Raid , Norway - Vol 1
This is a small clip of a bunker in Norway, Kristiansund. Standing tall from the Nazi's during Ww2.
It's not trying to look professional , nor do I have the skills to do so ;P
This is simply a entertaining clip for anyone whom wishes to see abit of the bunkers here in Norway.
Info about the bunker.
This bunker is placed on the top of a hill in Karihola, Kristiansund.
Still open to the public, this is one of the biggest one in this area - That I know of.
Apparently this was a medical commando -bunker.
The furnitures inside is probably.. from later times ;P
Sadly I can't confirm this info 100%, So don't quote me! XD

Norwegian defence shelter and MG3 bunker preview
This is a Norwegian military contractors built shelters for soldiers who would defend the country in the event of invasion.
The room is constructed from old railway sleepers that are covered with dirt and grass.
It has openings in all the corners and from one corner is the trenches to machine the bunker and the covered firing position on either side of the bunker.
This is just one of many installations of the Cold War that are unused and available to the public.
Dette er et norsk bygd millitært beskyttelsesrom for soldater som ville forsvare landet ved en eventuell innvasjon.
Rommet er konstruert av gamle jernbanesviller som er dekt med jord og gress.
Det har åpninger i alle hjørnene og fra ett hjørne er det løpegraver til maskingevær bunkeren og de overbygde skytestillingen på hver side av bunkeren.
Dette er kun en av mange installasjoner fra den kalde krigen som står ubrukte og tilgjengelig for publikum.
