When an account is sold to a 3rd party, often times the collection company will violate set regulations. This leaves the consumer paying more than they have to or paying for something that isn’t theirs. Our collection attorneys have not only gotten 3rd party and medical collections removed from our clients reports, but have also succeeded in obtaining cash settlements for some clients as well. Better Qualified is unlike any other credit repair company because we always strive to be the best. Here are a few reasons BQ gives you an advantage:1)An Experienced Team

In 2014 the industry made fixed asset investment of $178.4 billion, a 29.84% increase from 2008 and an 8.32% increase from 2013. As the chart below shows, Finance and Insurance fixed asset investment is steady and consistent on a year-to-year basis. Outlaws leader tells his side of the story
Mark Lester, regional president of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, relates what happened at the group's clubhouse on New Year's Eve 2009. The Knox County Sheriff's Office raided the clubhouse on the evening of Dec. 31, 2009 and arrested Lester and a fellow Outlaw member.
Although the operation took place within the city limits, the Sheriff's Office executed the raid while Knoxville Police Department officers played a supporting role.
Lecture: Brownlow’s Whig and Rebel Ventilator: How Not to Heal the Wounds
This lecture on “Parson” William G. Brownlow was given on February 22, 2015 by Dr. Joan Markel, Civil War Curator at the McClung Museum. The lecture was part of the museum's annual Civil War Lecture Series, given in support of the Knox Area Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission's ongoing efforts to bring the story of Knoxville's complicated history to the community.
Brownlow was one of the most colorful and influential citizens of Knoxville for almost 30 years. Always controversial, his newspaper was the platform from which his opinions reached a national audience before, during, and after the Civil War. His arrest and expulsion from his home state in 1862 was followed by his heralded return a year and a half later. Through the revived Knoxville Whig and Rebel Ventilator he wielded the extraordinary ability to exert public retribution against his defeated oppressors, making him even more famous and contentious.
RUFUS James Agee talk at East Tennessee History Center | Paul F. Brown
Excerpt from an East Tennessee Historical Society Brown Bag Lecture by Paul F. Brown, author of RUFUS, a new biography of James Agee. Brown discusses Agee's family and Knoxville childhood, and how living in that city influenced his work. East Tennessee History Center, 601 S Gay Street, Knoxville, TN. July 10, 2019.
James Agee is remembered today for his Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, A DEATH IN THE FAMILY, his Oscar-nominated screenplay, THE AFRICAN QUEEN, his influential film reviews for Time and The Nation, and his journalistic masterpiece, LET US NOW PRAISE FAMOUS MEN. Agee was born in Tennessee and lived there for the first third of his short life, yet his roots in the state and their influence on his career have remained largely unexplored—until now. Paul F. Brown's RUFUS presents the definitive account of Agee's youth, and is the first literary biography to consider Agee's work and legacy in the context of his Tennessee heritage.

Its Memory Alone Remains clip
Its Memory Alone Remains, the title taken from an 1890's Blue and Gray Reunion medal, is a 28 minute film produced by Steve Dean that narrates the unique experience of East Tennessee during the Civil War. The film employs live-action, animation, dramatization, and historic documentation enhanced by unique contemporary footage acquired by flying low over Knoxville in a helicopter. This bird's eye view allowed Steve to create an amazing film 'morph' from present day to 1900 then 1864 and back again.
Steve's enthusiasm for the project was so great he actually assembled the resources to construct a full-size reproduction of the long gone Fort Sanders in a cow pasture in east Knox County. What began as a 'film prop' expected to be plowed back under after a week of shooting, has captured the imagination of historians, military scholars and Civil War buffs alike. In fact it has been expanded and stabilized and is used for reenactments, living history and educational purposes.
The full length film is available for purchase from the East Tennessee History Center gift shop in Downtown Knoxville.
