Exploring Koh Tao Beaches on Motorbike
In this episode i am on the Thai Island Koh Tao. i rent a motorbike for 150 baht for the day and explore Koh Tao with a focus on finding the best beaches.
I visit the following beaches on Koh Tao. Sairee Beach, Chalok Baan Kao Bay , Laem Thian, Tanote Bay, Lang Khai Bay, Freedom Bay and my favourite beach on Koh Tao Aow Leuk.

✏︎ In this vlog we set out to explore the island of Koh Samui on our rented scooter. As the island is pretty small, we managed to drive around the entire island, which is equivalent of around 100 km.
It was a good scooter exploration, but not particularly packed with things to see or do along the coast. Definitely worth it though.
What we usually enjoy most is to just drive around on the scooter with wind in our hair. Or in Amalie's hair. Joen doesn't have much left.
In the vlog we also address whether or not the island is safe, because there are apparently a bit of bad people roaming the island, particularly known as 'the myanmar mob'. The thai people are not happy with these people, as they don't care about anybody. They pretty much just do as they please, and that can sometimes be dangerous for the local people, but also tourists if caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Generally though, Koh Samui is a safe island. Just take precautions and use common sense.

The Journey from Bangkok to Koh Tao
We show you the train and ferry journey overnight from Hua Lamphong Station in central Bangkok to Koh Tao Island on the east coast of Thailand.
We left at 7.30pm and got to the Koh Tao around 9am the next morning.

This part of Thailand has a lot of expats living here. We wanted to see what living on a Thai island would really be like, so we rent our own little house and a scooter. Only half way through our time here and we are absolutely loving it! It’s so relaxed here, everyone is really friendly and there’s an abundance of delicious and cheap fruit everywhere ????
Verdict: If you’re able to make a stable income online we would definitely recommend giving this a go!

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! We plan to travel the world for a year, see as much as possible, meet as many people as we can, and most importantly MAKE OUR MONEY LAST!

Koh Phangan to KOH TAO - Where to Stay & First Impressions // Thailand Travel
We took a ferry from Koh Phangan to Koh Tao. Once we got there we were surprised to find that our hotel was closed.
We were able to book las minute rooms at Hillside Resort and Koh Tao Cabana.
