Enjoying with my friends and learning how to ski on mountain Kopaonik. You can see road up the mountain where everything is covered with snow and its all white and beautiful. Later on you will see part of national park Kopaonik with hotels, some of slopes for skiing and nice view from ski lift. Winter time on mountain is amazing, very healthy and fun if you know how to ski.

Kopaonik is one of the larger mountain in Serbia. Its highest point, Pančić's Peak, is 2,017 m (6,617 ft) above sea level.
Kopaonik is the major ski resort of Serbia.
Kopaonik's national park was established in 1981.

Od 2019 godine na Kopaoniku postoji uzgajalište divljači na 200 hektara kojim gazduje Nacionalni park Kopaonik.

Kopaonik is the largest ski resort in Serbia with excellently prepared runs, which offers unlimited joy to all categories of skiers, from beginners to highly skilled ones. Kopaonik ski resort comprises of about 55km of runs for alpine skiing and12 km of runs for cross country (nordic) skiing. For those who enjoy skiing at night
While Serbia has got a lot of one-slope-resorts, this one is a real ski resort. I think it has 70km of slopes (it is rising, as some new ones are planned) and about 20km of tracks for Nordic skiing. The resort is getting better and better every year. The instalment of artificial snow is almost finished - 70% are covered in artificial snow, and the other 30% is planed for the next season. Also, a lot of old ski lifts are replace by Dopelmayer's new ones. In fact, there are only 3 old ones, and 2 of them are not working for years now (hopefully that problem will also be solved, some ownership issue). The slopes vary from easy (blue), to medium (red), and hard (black). There are also baby tracks. Also, if you're interested, there are licensed ski-schools (you can take group or individual classes).
One of the most beautiful slope is called Krcmar. Unfortunately, it is the one with the older ski-lift, but many say it is their favourite, including myself. The track is red in the upper part, and black at the end.
The most amazing thing about this mountain is that all tracks are so well connected, and there's no need for walks or ski-buses. You can just ski from one slope to another, and circle the whole mountain.
Ultimately, you'll enjoy beautiful evergreen forests. In fact, when the sky is clear, the scenery is amazing.
The mountain centre could be a bit noisy, but that is only a small area. I'd recommend a stay in hotels that are several hundred meters of Centre. They could be on the slopes too, so ski-in, ski-out is a real possibility here, and a big advantage.
The one I'd recommend is hotel Putnik (two types of rooms with 3* and 4*(or 3+)), 15-minutes walk from the Centre, sitting at the bottom of Suncana Dolina slope. There, you'll be close to all the events, yet far enough to enjoy the mountain. The other recommendation is hotel called Srebrnac at the bottom of Gobelja slopes. It is really cheap, in need of a renovation, but clean, cosy and the staff are very pleasant. For the ones that looks for really cheap, there's also hotel Rtanj resting on the slope Mali Karaman.

Kopaonik is a mountain range in the middle of Serbia with the highest point at an altitude of 2.017 meters.
It was known as the Silver Mountain in the past, hence the Serbian word for digging, kopati.
Naturally, it is the largest ski center in the country.
Ski slopes range to about 75 kilometers, usually covered with thick snow lasting almost half a year long.
Hotels and other tourist facilities can accommodate your stay.
You can enjoy night skiing at the resort.
24 Ski lifts and chairlifts can carry skiers at the top of the slopes by the thousands per hour.
Kopaonik became a national park in 1981.
Прокупље Prokuplje is a town of about 27.000 inhabitants you can visit on your way to the resort.

Kopaonik Freeride Forest Snowboard Clip
We spent 5 unforgettable days in Kopaonik coming from Turkey for holiday. Its nature, trees, forest, powder.. everything was amazing.
We skied like crazy down the mountain. We all danced all night long.
We made a video clip to remember our Kopaonik holiday and I hope you will have a lot of fun watching the video.

Kopaonik je naš najveći i najpoznatiji ski centar, i svi u Srbiji koji razmišljaju da posete ovaj nacionalni park žele da odu na Kopaonik na skijanje.
Malo su poznate druge lepote Kopaonika, kao što je na primer vodopad Jelovarnik, koji je sa visinom od 71 metra najviši vodopad u Srbiji. Kao nacionalni park, i centar biodiverziteta, idealno je mesto za proizvodnju zdrave hrane - resurs koji pored preostalih staračkih domaćinstava koristi i mali broj stanovnika sela koji nisu podlegli primamljivom i varljivom izazovu turističke industrije.
