WHAT TO EXPECT ON FIRST TIME IN SOUTH KOREA | Trip to Korea Vlog
TRIP TO SOUTH KOREA
Travel Guide , Tips and Itinerary
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW :
*South Korea has 4 seasons : Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall
Be sure you prepare right clothes for the season.
I went to Korea in Autumn. It was cool and a bit chilly, especially for someone who comes from a tropical country.
If you're going late Autumn, prepare scarf, bonnet and gloves.
*I took Philippine Airlines and it takes about 4 hours from the Philippines to Incheon, Korea.
The airfare was around $340.
From Incheon going to Seoul, it would take about an hour travel.
*Myeongdong Tourist Information Center
Seoul, South Korea
Address: 66 Eulji-ro, Euljiro 2(i)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Hours: 9AM–8PM
Phone: +82 2-778-0333
Price is 2,000 WON per locker.
*I stayed at an AIRBNB in Jongno-gu, near Insadong
I will be uploading an AIRBNB room tour + tips so
please check out my other Korea vlogs.
*Things you need to prepare are KOREAN WON and LOCAL SIM
so you could go around and get to places. I changed some money in the Philippines and the rest, I exchanged in Myeongdong
for 20 WON for 1 PESO. So, its about Php 5,000 for 100,000 WON.

Medical information center for foreigners opens in Seoul
메디컬코리아..외국인 환자에 통역•의료분쟁 지원 서비스
Korea has quickly become a popular destination for foreign patients seeking medical services.
To better accomodate these visitors, a new medical information center was opened.
Kim Min-ji shows us how it can help foreign patients from A to Z.
Tserendolgor is from Mongolia.
She's in Seoul to receive treatment for a thyroid and digestive condition she's been battling because services here are more reliable than back home.
This Korean hospital is very famous among Mongolians. This is my second visit. The medical equipment and doctors here are top notch and the service is excellent.
She is just one of many foreigners receiving medical treatment in Korea.
Back in 2009, just over 60-thousand medical tourists visited the country,... but by 2014, the figure grew more than four-fold.
As of the first half of last year, the accumulative figure topped 1 million.
Business is booming, but not for all hospitals.
In a recent survey of some 200 local institutions,... interpretation services were needed the most in order to attract foreign patients, followed by counseling support for visa issues.
To offer a helping hand,... the health ministry opened its first Medical Korea Information Center in central Seoul.
The center is expected to make it much more convenient for foreign patients in Korea -- offering interpretation services, medical consulting as well as giving legal advice to sort out medical disputes.
Effective promotion of Korea's medical tourism program is a huge factor for success,... but organizers says there's more to it than that.
We've seen explosive growth during the past eight years. But at the same time, problems have grown too, including the issue of illegal brokers. As the market gets bigger, it's not just about promotion of our services. Foreigners need to trust us in order to come to us.
Some of the center's first visitors were impressed.
It's very good that I can get Russian services here. I've had difficulties before because I don't speak Korean.
Along with the opening of the center,... Korea plans to boost comprehensive support and offer more diverse medical tourism packages,... with the aim of attracting some 400,000 visitors this year alone.

First Time in South Korea | What To Do in SEOUL
On your first time in Seoul South Korea you have to visit these places!
There are many more places to visit in Seoul but I have other videos linked to this one if you want to do other crazy things in Seoul South Korea.
Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to northern village, came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. As Bukchon Hanok Village is an actual neighborhood with people's homes, visitors are advised to be respectful at all times while looking around.
If you are looking to shop and eat then start with Myeongdong. This popular district features street food carts, major shopping malls, and entertainment. The dense grid of streets found in this bustling neighborhood are packed with people at all hours of the day looking to enjoy some of the best shopping, street food, and nightlife in all of Korea.
Insadong is a popular neighborhood in the heart of Seoul that is often visited by locals and tourists wanting to experience traditional culture of Korea. Streets and narrow back alleys are lined with art galleries, wooden tea houses, restaurants, cafes, and small shops selling arts and crafts. The main street, Insadong-gil, runs for 700 meters from Tapgol Park in the south to Anguk-dong Rotary.
There are many things to do on your first time in seoul south korea, these are just a few of them but on your first time in seoul south korea you can add all the places on your list of things to do in seoul south korea.

Busan Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Busan – from mountains to sea to the city’s palpable vitality, join us as we explore the world this popular South Korean vacation spot.
Check out all the places we visited in this video:
When ready, browse vacation packages to Busan:
#Busan sits on the Korean Peninsula’s southern coastline, just a short flight from Asian capitals like Beijing and Tokyo.
Busan’s coastline offers scenery to match your every mood. Just a 40-minute subway ride from Busan Station is the city’s star attraction, Haeundae Beach. Seeking a little enlightenment? Make a wish at Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the few temples in Korea built by the ocean. While Busan’s story has been shaped by the sea, it’s a city equally defined by its mountains. On Mt Cheonma, hike to the observation platform to see “Dynamic Busan” spread out before you.
The colorful village of Gamcheon is symbolic of Busan’s new-found creative energy. The residents of Gamcheon transformed their neighborhood into one of the city’s top tourist #attractions. This creativity is echoed in Busan’s word-class museums, galleries and festivals.
Welcome to Busan, a feast for all the senses, and the soul.

Seoul Tower:
Located on Namsan Mountain, the N Seoul Tower is Seoul’s second highest point, with a total height of 236m. Rising almost 500 meters above the city, this communications and observation tower provides dramatic views of the city from its perch on the side of Mount Namsan.
Bukchon Hanok Village:
This preserved area of several ancient neighborhoods gives you a feel for what it was like to live in Korea 600 years ago and it is featuring hundreds of traditional Korean houses, called hanok. It's right in central Seoul, in the area between the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Changdeokgung Palace.
Gyeongbokgung Palace:
Gyeongbokgung is a large palace complex that also houses the National Folk Museum of Korea. First built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is the largest of Seoul's five grand palaces built during the powerful Joseon dynasty.
Gwanghwamun Gate:
The largest and main gate to Seoul's Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Gate is home to the changing of the guards ceremony (performed since 1469).

Seoul City Tour: A Guide to Things to Do In Seoul
Watch our video highlighting some of the best things to do in Seoul, but beware—it just might cause you to start planning your next Korean vacation!
Join us in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. This intriguing destination boasts an innovative, forward-thinking culture, but it’s also steeped in history. While traveling around this northwestern city, you’ll come across massive shopping complexes just on the outskirts of ancient temples and palaces.
Take a trip back in time at the Changdeokgung Palace, which was built in 1405 as one of the Five Grand Palaces established by the Joseon Dynasty. Though all the city’s palaces were burned down during the 1592 Japanese invasion, Changdeokgung was the first to be reconstructed. Venture around Injeongjeon, the throne hall, and step across the Geumcheongyo Bridge, which is considered one of the city’s oldest bridges. Deoksugung is another one of the Five Grand Palaces, and it’s unique in that it incorporates a Western-style garden. Don’t miss the other royal grounds, including Changgyeonggung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Unhyeongung Palace.
If you’re really looking to get a sense of the more modern, Seoul tourism scene, prepare to shop ’til you drop! This city takes shopping seriously, as you can find stores and markets scattered all around town. COEX Mall is Korea’s largest underground shopping mall, while Namdaemun Market features hundreds of vendors selling almost anything you can imagine, from kimchi to kitchenware. In the mood for some late-night shopping? Discover some of the best finds in fashion at Dongdaemun Market, which is open all through the night, closing around 7 a.m.
Continue your Seoul city tour by making your way to the theaters to witness some marvelous performances. These theaters know how to put on a show–Korean martial artists, dazzling dancers, and talented musicians take the stage at the Korea House, Jeongdong Theater, and Seoul Arts Center. Next, visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace to catch the opening and closing of the royal palace gates and the royal guard changing, or check out the Bosingak daily bell-ringing ceremony.
Whether you decide to join guided Seoul tours or prefer to venture around the Korean destination on your own terms, you won’t be disappointed. From royal grounds to theater productions, the entertainment is endless. Press play on our travel guide video to get inspiration for your next trip to South Korea.

[4K] Walk Itaewon hidden alleys│Seoul, Korea
It's fun to find and walk around Itaewon's hidden alleys. You can find a unique look that is different from the bustle of Itaewon main roads. Today I took pictures of Itaewon in quiet corners throughout the corners of Itaewon. It was cold in the winter, but I enjoyed walking lightly. Because it was weekday, there were not many people than usual.

It would be a VLOG to someone.
It would be a short story or essay to someone.
It would be a REAL Korean Travel Guide to someone.
Whatever,
I hope that the thoughts and perspective of one person living in Seoul will be fully conveyed.
