Krabi Housing - Rent and Buying (Actual Listings) ????????Thailand Living กระบี่ประเทศไทย
Krabi Housing กระบี่ประเทศไทย - Houses for Sale - Houses for Rent in Krabi Town
I just drove around the neighborhood and took photos of all the Krabi Rentals and Krabi houses, townhomes, container homes, and duplexes that had FOR SALE or FOR RENT signs on them. This was done October 2017. If you cannot read the phone number on the video, let me know and I'll send it to you.
Housing in Krabi is expensive, some say it is more expensive than Phuket. For some areas, yes, I think that's true. Maybe not overall though. There is very little housing - houses, homes, rentals, available in Krabi - it's always difficult to find something that you want AND something that is within your price range to pay per month.
Most places are furnished in Krabi if over 10,000 THB.
Most of the houses and townhomes in this video are located in the north part of town - down Maharat and Krabi Roads toward the Talad Gaew Intersection.
If you're looking to rent a home in Krabi - I hope this video helps you. I'll be doing a video like this every now and then, so subscribe and keep watching.
Cheers!

The Four Island Tour in Krabi Thailand. Showing Phra Nang Beach at Railay, Koh Gai (Chicken Island), Koh Tup (Tup Island) and Koh Poda (Poda Island). The tour operator I prefer is Andaman Krabi Travel and Tour, I've done a number of their tours since 2011 and they have always been great!
This is a great tour, visiting some of the many beautiful Krabi islands. The islands have great beaches for sunbathing, relaxing, swimming and snorkeling, and jungle behind the beach. The snorkeling from the boat was also great on the 4 island tour, with lots of fish and other marine life. You can book this tour and many other Krabi tours from both Ao Nang and Krabi Town.
The tour takes about 6-7 hours. They pick you up from your hotel at around 8AM and take you to the boat. The first stop is about 15 minutes away, Phra Nang Beach at Railay, where you can look around and/or swim for 40 minutes or so. Then it's time for some snorkeling. Snorkeling is one of my favourite activities around Thailand islands. There's so much marine life in the waters of Thailand!. Then you go to another tropical island for a swim or a snack. Then it's off to Poda Island. You generally get lunch when you first arrive and then have an hour or 2 for swimming and relaxing. Ask the guide if you can take a snorkel and mask when you get off the boat at the islands as they have good snorkeling too! We paid 600 baht per adult for the tour, plus 400 baht each for entrance to the national park.
I think this tour is one of the best things to do in Krabi, I've done it a few times now and it is always a lot of fun. It is also available from Phuket, Koh Lanta and Phi Phi Island.

If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.

Krabi Airport to Ao Nang || Krabi Island || Bangkok || wayfarer bd
Krabi Airport to Ao Nang || Krabi Island || Bangkok || wayfarer bd
Airport to Ao Nang Beach is an impressive journey for all tourist in Thailand. The sacred hill makes an easy day trip from Krabi Town. The resident monkeys will keep you entertained as you explore the surrounding forest trails.
You’re not far from the tropical lowland rain forest where you can immerse yourself in the cool mineral waters of Emerald Pool. Or if you’d rather, take a bath-temperature soak in hot springs.
Glide on the crystal Andaman waters to further sea caves and through mangrove forests, before heading back to wash off the sea salt in nearby Tha Pom stream in its verdant jungle setting.
Close your eyes and imagine a tropical paradise. Odds on, you’re picturing Krabi, Thailand’s lushest, greenest, wonderland at the edge of the Andaman Sea. With more national parks than you can shake a canoe-paddle at, this coastal region is dotted with dramatically rising rainforest-carpeted islands, and is spectacular.

KRABI TO PHI PHI ISLAND BY FERRY - THAILAND
#FERRY #KRABI #PHIPHIISLAND #HOW_TO_TRAVEL_KRABI_TO_PHIPHI
The Phi Phi islands are some of the loveliest in Southeast Asia. Just a 45-minute speedboat trip or a 90-minute ferryboat ride from either Phuket or Krabi, these picture postcard islands offer the ultimate tropical getaway. Featuring classic tropical beaches, stunning rock formations and vivid turquoise waters teeming with colourful marine life, it is paradise perfected.
Getting to Phi Phi Island is pretty easy. This group of six islands is located 46km from Phuket and roughly the same distance from Krabi. To get to Phi Phi, there are basically two options: ferries and speedboats.
The ferry is by far the most popular method of reaching the islands. Ferries take about two hours from Phuket and 90 minutes from Krabi or Koh Lanta. The main departure/arrival port in Phuket is Rassada Pier, located in Phuket Town. In Krabi, the main ferry pier is Klong Jirad Pier, situated just south of Krabi Town. The ferry terminal is a one-hour drive from Phuket Airport and Krabi's is 30 minutes from Krabi Airport. To get good seats you should arrive well in advance in high season or half an hour before departure in low season.
If you are travelling from Bangkok, you need to get to one of these two piers to catch a ferry to Phi Phi. Once you arrive at the airport or at the Bokoso (inter-city bus station), you’ll have to take a taxi or a local bus to get to the ferry terminal. Please have a look at the Phuket and Krabi ferry schedules beforehand, so you can plan your trip accordingly.
Ferry departure times from Krabi’s Klong Jilad Pier are 9am, 10.30am, 1.30pm, and 3pm. The only exception is that the 3pm ferry actually departs at 4pm on Fridays.
The ferry journey is approximately 1.5 hours and you’ll arrive at the Tonsai Pier on Ko Phi Phi Don, the largest of the Phi Phi Islands. From here it’s just a short walk to many different places to stay or dine.
You can book ferry tickets from here:

Speedboat from Krabi to Phi Phi
Private speedboat transfer is the next most popular way of getting to Phi Phi. Basically, it's a private charter of a speedboat, so departure and drop-off points are a little more flexible and you can go right up to the front of your chosen resort, which can save a lot of time. For most of the year the ride is flat, but it's advisable to avoid speedboats in low season (from September to November) as things can get a little bumpy. Obviously, speedboats are more expensive than the ferry, but they can represent excellent value for larger groups as the cost of the boat hire is divided.

KRABI TOWN NIGHT MARKET & RIVER - Krabi, Thailand // 170
Leaving the wonderfully relaxing island of Koh Lanta, I head to Krabi Town, Thailand to spend the night before an early flight tomorrow. To get off the island, I've got to first take a tuk-tuk (small cart attached to a motorbike, aka a local taxi) to my previous hostel to search for a swimsuit I left there.
Thankfully, the swimsuit is right where I left it. After a brief friendly chat with Jojo (the bungalow owner and chillest man I've ever met), I take the van from Koh Lanta to Krabi. Going from Koh Lanta to Krabi Town by van, it is a very squished--thought, thankfully, air conditioned--ride through the countryside and on the ferry.
After finally reaching Krabi, I settled in my hostel, set up a taxi to pick me up at 6am the next morning, and went out for food. I had a delicious plate of heart-shaped fried rice before venturing through the street food stalls in the Krabi Town Night Market.
The Krabi Town Night Market was much bigger than I expected. And it had any food you could think of--and many you could never--available to you. Cake, smoothies, spring rolls, curry, fried chicken wings, ice cream, marshmallows, donuts, crepes, fresh fruit, and more. If you can't find any food to eat at the Krabi Town Night Market, then you must not be hungry.
I was amazed by the variety offered at the Krabi Town Night Market. It was interesting seeing children helping older family members serve curry and chop fruit. I wanted to buy something from every food stall just to thank the families for being there.
Street food is much more popular in Thailand than traditional restaurants. At first, I didn't trust all the food carts, remembering the warnings I heard as a child about the hot dog carts in Manhattan. But here, street food and food stalls at night markets are the primary way of eating.
After leaving the Krabi Town Night Market, I walked a couple blocks over to the Krabi river where I watched the sun go down while eating a huge chunk of fresh watermelon.
