Walking in Krakow 4K, Poland
Walking in KRAKOW / Poland - A windy winter day - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Krakow is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Poland.
Today we walk in this beautiful city and see the main square with the The Cloth Hall first. Then we head towards the Wawel Royal Castle and after that also walk around in Kazimierz, the Jewish Quarter. We had back to Old Town and finally go the the main station where we end this walk of 1½ hours.
Krakow during the winter is quieter and still has a lot of charm in the cold. No talking, just walking here as this isn't the vlog version of this video. I hope you enjoy. Please give comments and suggestions of cities you'd like to see in such walking video next.

Walking tour of Krakow + Trying Pierogi | Poland Travel vlog
For our second stop in Poland, we head to Krakow. We'd had such an amazing time in Wroclaw so we were excited to check out another Polish city, and eat more Polish food. The next dish on our list of foods to try was Pierogi. They're a dumpling filled with delicious things like meat, cheese and vegetables. We even tried sweet Pierogi. We did an amazing walking tour too and learnt lots about the city and Polish history.

Krakow Market Square - Krakow attractions - Krakow Travel Vlog
Krakow Travel Vlog. This is a tour of the Krakow Old Town Market Square (Rynek Glowny Grand Square) and a walk inside the Krakow Market Hall also known as the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice building or Cloth Hall). Through this video tour watch out for other landmarks / tourist attractions such as the St. Mary's Basilica Church, the Leaning Tower and ‘The Head’, a sculpture officially called ‘Eros Bendato’ (Eros Bound) by Polish artist Igor Mitoraj (1944 - 2014).
Wiki writes about the Krakow Market Square, The main square (Polish: Rynek Główny) of the Old Town of Kraków, Lesser Poland, is the principal urban space located at the center of the city. It dates back to the 13th century, and at roughly 40,000 m2 (430,000 ft2) is one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe...The main square is a rectangular space surrounded by historic townhouses (kamienice), palaces and churches. The center of the square is dominated by the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), rebuilt in 1555 in the Renaissance style, topped by a beautiful attic or Polish parapet decorated with carved masks. On one side of the cloth hall is the Town Hall Tower (Wieża ratuszowa), on the other the 10th century Church of St. Adalbert and 1898 Adam Mickiewicz Monument. Rising above the square are the Gothic towers of St. Mary's Basilica (Kościół Mariacki). Kraków Main Square does not have a town hall, because it has not survived to the present day...
Wiki writes about Krakow, Kraków (Polish pronunciation: [ˈkrakuf] ( listen)) also Cracow, or Krakow (US English /ˈkrækaʊ/, UK English /ˈkrækɒv/) is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River (Polish: Wisła) in the Lesser Poland region, the city dates back to the 7th century. Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life and is one of Poland's most important economic hubs. It was the capital of Poland from 1038 to 1569...

Walk Through History I KRAKOW, POLAND
Krakow, Poland, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It's the most historically preserved city in Poland and central Europe, alongside Prague. Polish Kings used to rule from here for many centuries and the city now is full of old world riches and charm. It's a city that survived WW2 so the beauty and charm is quite authentic.

Communism Tour in Krakow, Poland | A Walk Around Nowa Huta
In 1949 Poland's socialist government created Nowa Huta - a utopian prototype for the communist city of the future. It was a place of rapidly expanding industry including the largest steel mill in the country producing over 7 millions tons of steel annually and home to 100,000 people. Building the perfect city is no easy task and things didn't go completely to plan, as I found out when I took a walk around it in 2017.

Krakow Jewish Ghetto District Tour
The Kraków Ghetto was one of five major, metropolitan Jewish ghettos created by Nazi Germany in the new General Government territory during the German occupation of Poland in World War II. It was established for the purpose of exploitation, terror, and persecution of local Polish Jews, as well as the staging area for separating the able workers from those who would later be deemed unworthy of life.

20 Things to do in Kraków, Poland Travel Guide video transcript:
We kicked off this trip to Poland with a visit to Krakow, a city people have been telling us to visit for years and now we know why. Krakow in the summertime was wonderful! We spent our time enjoying castle views from the river side, exploring neighbourhoods covered in street art, eating some of the best pierogie of our lives, and also discovering what we think may be the best ice cream. The following is our travel guide to some of the best things to do in Krakow!
Wawel Castle is Krakow's crowning jewel, and for centuries it was the residence of the kings of Poland. You can see a mix of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture all in one place.
While in the city, we also had to walk the Royal Route, which was once the historic coronation path of Polish kings.
After visiting the basilica, we spent a bit of time walking the Main Square, which just so happens to be Europe's largest medieval town square.
And that’s it for our visit to Krakow! We hope this video gave you a few ideas of things to do around the city. If you have any other places to add to this list or any tips for fellow travellers visiting Krakow feel free to share those.
This is part of our Travel in Poland video series showcasing Polish food, Polish culture, Polish cuisine while visiting Kraków Polska.
