After Bhuteshwar Mahadev our parikrama party proceeded to Krishna's Appearance place where cameras are not allowed so I couldn't have footage inside. Then nearby is Potra Kunda where Vasudev and Devaki used to take bath and wash their clothes. Then outside the backgate of Janmasthana is the ancient temple of Adi Keshav, a very ancient Deity of Krishna established by Krishna's great grandson Vajranabha. This unque Deity has all the marks of Sri Krishna's 24 avatars. Also nearby is the temple of Mahavidya devi or Yogamaya and Saraswati Kund where Sri Krishna liberated one big python who tried to swallow Nanda Baba (whole story in Srimad Bhagavatam 10th canto chapter 34).

The Krishna Janmasthan Temple Complex is a group of Hindu temples in Mallapura, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. These temples are built around the place where major Hindu deity Krishna is said to have been born. The place holds religious significance since the 6th century BC. The temples were destroyed multiple times throughout history, latest by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1670 who erected Eidgah there. In 20th century, the new temple complex was built with financial help from industrialists containing the Keshavdeva temple, the Garbha Griha temple at the birth place and the Bhagavata Bhavan.

Lord Krishna’s birthplace, Mathura is the 5000-year-old city of 4.5lakh people, just 180km South of Delhi.
Above are pictures of Kansa fort, on the banks of Yamuna river called Prachin Swami ghat. As per legends 3000 years ago Prince of Mathura Kansha Yadava crowned himself as king after arresting his father King Suryasen. This coup organized on the day of marriage of Kansha’s own sister Devki Yadava. Helpless princess and her husband put inside the jail of Mathura and all her children were killed so that there is no other claim on the throne. Mathura jail is Krishna Janam bhumi temple where Devki’s eighth son Shri Krishna was smuggled to the village of Vrindavan (11km away). After 11 years Krishna returned back and punished Kansha, Yadav king of Mathura(UP) and Kansha’s father in law Jarasandh King of Magadh (Bihar).
1000 years ago Temple of Mathura broken by Muhammad Ghaznavi (1025AD) and Muhammad Ghuri (1192AD) again rebuilt in the age of Akbar (1546-1607AD). Akbar’s grandson Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb who broke temple of Brith place of Krishna and Shahi Masjid mosque made. (1670AD)

Birth Place Of Lord Sri Krishna, Mathura in India
Mathura is a city in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Agra, and 145 kilometres (90 mi) south-east of Delhi; about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from the town of Vrindavan, and 22 kilometres (14 mi) from Govardhan. It is the administrative centre of Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh. During the ancient period, Mathura was an economic hub, located at the junction of important caravan routes. The 2011 census of India estimated the population of Mathura to be 441,894.
According to Hindu scriptures Mathura is the birthplace of the deity Lord Krishna at the centre of Braj or Brij-bhoomi, called Shri Krishna Janma-Bhoomi, literally: 'Lord Krishna's birthplace'.[citation needed] The Keshav Dev Temple was built in ancient times on the site of Krishna's legendary birthplace (an underground prison). According to the Mahabharata and Bhagavata Purana epics, Mathura was the capital of the Surasena Kingdom, ruled by Kansa the maternal uncle of Shri Krishna.

Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi is a Hindu temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The temple is built around the prison cell where Krishna is said to have been born.[1][2][3] It is situated next to Kesava Deo Temple and the Shahi Eid Gah Mosque. Photography is banned inside the complex by the government.[4][5]
The site celebrated as the birth place of Krishna. Krishna, as tradition goes, was born in a prison and the prison is said to have existed on the plot marked by a stone plate. To the right of it is the idgah. 1949
The original temple was built by King Vajra, then later rebuilt by Vikramaditya. The temple is said to have been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times in its history. Today the temple is one of the most frequently visited temples in India.
