This route 441 of Aichi Prefecture is only 1,200m long, from the parking lot facing the main road (Route 32) to the entrance to Mount Horaiji. This is a narrow road for vehicles, but full of beautiful view of autumn leaves. 愛知県道４４１号線は、主要道である３２号線に面した駐車場から、鳳来寺山登山口までのわずか１２００ｍの道路です。車には道幅が狭いですが、紅葉に満ちた美景の道でもあります。 La Ruta 441 de la Prefectura de Aichi dura sólo 1,200 metros de largo, desde el parqueo en frente de la carretera principal (Ruta 32) hasta la entrada al Monte Horaiji. Kani Yasuragi forest is a nice forest park in the far west of Kani city, Gifu prefecture.
The park has a variety of things to do and see, a long hiking course, a few lookouts and quiet rest stops, children's playground equipment (including a long bum numbing roller slide) and flower gardens with hydrangea and iris. The ponds in the park have ducks, turtles, koi, and the largest tadpoles I've ever seen (bull frogs could be heard from the reeds). We were lucky to see a pair of Great Tits (get your mind out of the gutter) which had made a nest in an ashtray from the main lookout. The area had been roped off to protect the nest.
Very well maintained park. Only negative would be the high voltage power lines that cross the forest with a high pitch humming noise.
