Beach Haven West October 2019 Flooding
On the nights of the 10th and 11th Beach Haven West (LBI) was flooded with more than 2 feet in the worst affected areas. I Captured some video of the flood, according to neighbors who live year-round this was the worst flood they had seen since Hurricane Sandy 6 years ago in 2012. This was definitely one of the scariest events in my life as I felt extremely vulnerable

Superstorm Sandy: the aftermath on Long Beach Island, New Jersey
This video shows scenes in and near Surf City and Long Beach, New Jersey, taken in the aftermath of hurricane SuperStorm Sandy. The video was shot on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. The task of cleaning up the sand and carrying away the ruined remains from inside hundreds of houses will take a very long time. Millions and millions of tons of sand were dumped on the New Jersey barrier islands as the ocean topped the dunes and ran across the islands. In the process, the contents of houses were ruined, too, and the owners tried to clear out the debris quickly before mold and mildew set in. These scenes were shot by Doug Terry of The TerryReport.com
