Russian dairy producers are preparing to export their products to Asia. In December, Moscow and Beijing agreed on mutual access to their markets. Regions have already begun to study logistics and communicate with importers.
The Ministry of Agriculture forecasts that by 2024, Russian dairy producers will increase exports by over 2.5 times, that is up to $800 million. In other words, Russia could account for up to 8% of the global dairy market.

Wings of RUSSIA - Kings of the sky - Russian Blades
Russian MiG-29, Su-27, Su-30, Su-35 in contrast to the foreign fighters are equipped with optical-location station, which gives them a huge advantage in dogfight.
Su-35 superior to the F-22 in the arms. su-35 has missiles with increased range(R-77). Today, much of the EPR Su-35 allows the F-22 be undetected at a distance of 150 - 180 km. But F-22 can shoot only after reducing the distance between the fighters up to 110 miles, and when he becomes visible to the Su-35 in the radar range while falling under fire missiles R-77.In favorable weather, a new airborne optical-location station OLS-35 can detect the Raptor to distance more than 110 km and would open fire on him. Then, two Su-35 costs 40 - 50 million USD and is guaranteed to destroy one F-22 cost 150-200 million U.S. dollars.
But this is not the most interesting! Russia's military is always skeptical of the stealth technology. Big secret in the not. On pages of the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific - Research Institute of Radio Engineering, you can find the answer yourself - FORWARD-SCATTERING RADAR SYSTEM FOR DETECTION OF LOW-FLYING TARGETS.
Description
The BARRIER-E radar system is designed to automatically detect, track, and identity very small low-altitude airborne targets as well as ground and water surface targets. It allows for creating a 'radar barrier' of a desired shape and an extension of up to 500 km.
Unique features of the system The forward-scattering radar method offers a number of advantages:
• 'target'visibility' increases by a factor of 103-104 as compared with conventional radars;
• detection performance is not degraded by antiradar coating on the target;
• detection of targets that are not easily if at all detectable by conventional radars, such as:
■ light aircraft and hang gliders;
■ remotely controlled air vehicles;
■ cruise missiles;
■ stealth aircraft;
■ low-altitude fighters;
■ low-signature moving ground and surface targets;
• low radiated power;
• high detection probability for small targets;
• low false alarm rate.
Possible applications
• 'Radar barriers' for target detection at low and extremely low altitudes:
■ along the frontier to timely warn the air-defence forces about threats;
■ around important state facilities to timely alert air-defence artillery systems so they can counter the threats relying on their own radar means;
■ to fill gaps (40 to 80 km) in the radar field formed by the Army's standard radars;
• Airspace monitoring at airports as part of АТС systems.
Operational advantages
• low radiated power level permits of the system to be deployed in populated areas;
• deployment of the system does not require any engineering preparation of the site;
• reliable detection of air targets under diverse weather conditions;
• continuous 24-hour operation;
• automatic functional check on the equipment and fault localisation to 1-2 LRUs;
• the system has a compact design, low power consumption, and is environmentally friendly.
Anyone who is capable of thinking, understands that if the stealth goal illuminate the rear, such as the UAV, it will be absolutely visible. After some modifications installed on the fighters traditional radar can see stealth illuminated from behind (f-22, f-35) and successfully use on their own middle,long-range missiles (R-77,KC-137) without entering the zone of destruction weapons invisible (f-22, f-35).

Inside the city's sobering centre, preparations are already underway to welcome intoxicated supporters who down too many vodkas beside the Volga River.
Armed police routinely sweep the streets picking up drunks and delivering them here in jail vans to detox overnight.
The drunk tank - one of only a handful today operating in Russia since the old Stalinist harsh-regime facilities were abolished after the Soviet collapse - could act as a model for taking the strain off accident and emergency units in Britain, after a call for such drying out facilities by NHS England head Simon Stevens to stop hospitals having to deal with the impact of hangovers.
Here in Nizhny Novgorod, our pictures show piles of metal bed frames already waiting to be deployed when England play Panama on 24 June in this city, which was closed to foreigners in the Cold War.

Russian censorship - From Moscow to Murmansk
Censorship in Russia is not limited to journalism: in all possible areas people are threatened and opposed. In this episode of 'From Moscow to Murmansk' Jelle Brandt Corstius brings attention to censorship in Russia and (death) threats to critical journalists, human rights activists and dissidents.
Original title: New censorship
In the first series: From Moscow to Magadan, Jelle Brandt Corstius traveled from West to East, focusing on the endless Russian countryside and the villages. In this second series: From Moscow to Murmansk, he travels from North to South along the largest river of Russia: the Volga River. A trip along the relatively unknown cities like Murmansk, Volgograd, Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, but also to Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Through topics like women in Russia, new censorship, the environmental problem from Russian perspective and the ideological vacuum, a relatively unknown side of Russia is once again exposed.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Production
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Production.
Ever since the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter made its debut in 1995, the van has made a name for itself all over the world. The vehicle has always been a pioneer when it comes to assistance and safety systems. In 1995 Mercedes-Benz became the first manufacturer in this segment to introduce the anti-lock braking system (ABS) in a van by fitting it to the Sprinter. Another first for vans, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®), followed in 2002. Mercedes-Benz Vans achieved another pioneering feat in 2006 when it further developed ESP into ADAPTIVE ESP®. All of these developments have made the Sprinter a top seller. With sales of over 2.7 million units, the van has been helping customers in a wide variety of applications for the past 19 years.
Located in the segment for vehicles with around 3.5 tons GVW, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter straddles the line between cars and trucks, as defined by German traffic law at the time the van was introduced. However, the innovative vehicle concept has not only met with a great response in Germany, as the pioneering van is also rapidly conquering markets abroad. Today, the van is sold in thousands of variants in around 130 countries worldwide.
That the Sprinter has become a global vehicle is also reflected in its production locations. In addition to rolling off the line in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde, Germany, the van is now produced in Charleston, South Carolina, González Catan, Argentina, Fuzhou, China, and Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. That makes the Sprinter a truly global vehicle and one of the key pillars of the “Vans goes global” growth strategy of Mercedes-Benz Vans. The strategy is consistently globalizing the division’s business and exploiting additional earnings potential in new growth markets.

Thawing waters herald start of shipping season
(17 May 2019) LEADIN:
Europe's longest river has opened again for the summer season.
River cruises are travelling up and down the upper section of Russia 's Volga River, on their way to Moscow.
STORYLINE:
Springtime on the upper section of the Volga River means a return to river navigation.
Spring warmth has thawed the winter ice that caked the water's surface.
All the river's locks have been closed for winter, their re-opening marks the start of the spring sailing season.
The event is one of the most important dates for people working on the waterway, which is used for industry and passenger ships.
The Volga stretches more than 3,500 kilometres and is made up of many tributaries and reservoirs. It's also prone to flooding when it's fed by melting snow.
A system of locks are in place as the river regularly rises to different levels in different areas.
At the river station of Nizhny Novgorod, the first passenger ship is preparing to leave for the first journey of the season.
It's heading for Moscow. From there it will proceed to northwest Russia. Some eager tourists specifically bought tickets to be the first passengers.
This is one of the most popular routes, if not the most popular. It is popular among Russians and among foreign tourists from all over the world, says Alexander Sosnin, chairman of the board of directors of shipping company Constellation.
Perhaps, this is really a very beautiful route, it goes through different places where it is very difficult to access except by boat.
Four-deck vessels are the largest permitted on the Volga.
They're designed to easily pass through lock chambers.
Although they were built 35-years-ago, specialists say they're still in good working condition.
The heart of the ship is found below deck in the engine room, says Oleg Zhetlugin, senior engineer onboard the Dmitry Furmanov.
They say that the theatre starts with a coat check, and on the ship, everything starts from the engine room. This is the heart of the ship: controls both movement and power supply, he says.
For captain Pyotr Lipin, it's his 43rd year working on the Volga.
Each year presents new challenges, he says.
There are always some difficulties, depending on the sections we are passing through or weather conditions.
The trip to Moscow lasts four days and costs $310 USD per passenger. During the summer, the price can double.
Tourist Galina Ezhova says she's a fan of river cruises.
We were advised by friends (to spend holidays on a ship), we tried it about fifteen years ago and since then we were hooked on this kind of holiday. We like it very much, she says.
Until winter's cold weather returns and the Volga's waters freeze, the river will maintain its important role as Russia's watery highway.
