La Caleta - Tenerife Town Tour
La Caleta is a little fishing village and small harbour on the south coast of Tenerife. It's been a very popular area for visitors for years but since the early 2000s, it's been growing in popularity and in size and you could almost say that La Caleta and Adeje Golf are becoming one and the same regarding areas.
La Caleta still retains much of its charm from the fishing village days but with some modern buildings in the area and large luxurious villas working their way up the hills looking over the Costa Adeje golf course and out to sea.
There are plenty of nice restaurants, bars and cafes here in La Caleta but not much in the way of shopping centres and banks, although as I write this, I understand that there's going to be a shopping centre built on the land in front of the Oasis La Caleta complex.
Being on the small side, there's not much in the way of beaches, but there's the sandy beach situated on the outskirts of La Caleta on the way to the H10 Costa Adeje Gran and the Sheraton Hotel, where the parascenders land and that's only a short from the village itself.

Hovima Jardin Caleta 3* este situat pe insula Tenerife din arhipelagul Canare la începutul localități La Caleta venind dinspre Costa Adeje. Hotelul este de 3* și oferă apartamente cu un dormitor în trei variante: Confort, Superior și Excellence. Toate apartamentele au un dormitor cu balcon, baie cu duș și living cu chicinetă și una sau două canapele ce pot fi transformate în paturi. Livingul mai are o zona de servit masa și un frigider, iar funcție de nivelul camerei poare avea și un balcon. Balconul dormitorului este destul de mare și are în dotare o masă și două scaune. La sosire primiți o sticlă de apă și niște fructe. Camerele pot găzdui până la patru persoane, iar copiii până la 13,99 ani au gratuitate la cazare și masă. Regimul de masă poate fi ales și se poate opta între patru variante: mic dejun, demipensiune, pensiune completă sau all inclusive. Băuturile nu sunt incluse dacă nu aveți All Inclusive, dar dacă vă faceți rezervare pe situl oficial și deveniți membru Hovima aveți din parte hotelului incluse la mese câte o băutură pentru fiecare turist, alcoolică sau nealcoolică. Meniul este destul de bun și diversificat și include multe fructe de mare, în general este un meniu mediteranean. Hotelul mai are o piscină cu două zone (adulți și copii), iar pe acoperișul hotelului sunt două zone cu jacuzzi și șezlonguri, una din ele fiind o zonă exclusiv pentru adulți. La parter este o zonă pentru spectacole, ce au loc în fiecare seară, un bar de noapte și o zonă de joacă cu mese de biliard. La piscină este un bar care la orele amiezii servește și mâncare. Hotelul are și animatori care te invită la tot felul de activități. Parcare hotelului este cu plată, dar nu este nevoie pentru că la cam 100 m se află o parcare mare gratuită. În fata hotelului este o stație de autobuz de unde îl puteți lua și merge în celelalte stațiuni. Plaja este la 150 m de hotel, dar este bolovănoasă și vulcanică, o plajă mai bună se află la 1 km distanță, Playa Del Duque. Magazine sunt cam peste tot, chiar și la parterul hotelului, supermarketuri sunt la 700m (HiperDino Express). Restaurante sunt în La Caleta pe faleză la circa 150 m.
Raportul preț calitate este foarte bun singurul impediment este prețul avionului. Anul acesta am rezervat tot la acest hotel și a costat 620 euro/7 nopți pentru apartament superior pentru doi adulți și un copil de 12 ani cu pensiune completă pentru luna iulie.
