Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest (beer festival and travelling funfair). Held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first Sunday in October, with more than six million people from around the world attending the event every year. Locally, it is often called the Wiesn, after the colloquial name for the fairgrounds, Theresa's meadows (Theresienwiese). The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since the year 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations that are modeled after the original Munich event.
What Happens At OKTOBERFEST!?
Who goes to Germany and doesn't experience OKTOBERFEST?! It's one of the worlds biggest beer fests rooted in Bavarian tradition. Our host cooked us up a feast, and then we set off to drink the 12 Euro beers and party how the locals do. We highly recommend this insane beer drinking and culture festival!!

Oktoberfest 2018 in Munich
Here's a short video clip from Munich Oktoberfest 2018 taken on September 27, 2018.

Freddie Mercury was a man of many talents and many different sides. The songs he wrote for and with Queen filled stadiums around the globe and have rightly gone down in history, but he also embarked on a solo career that took him from the clubs of Munich and New York to the great opera houses of the world.
He was the ultimate showman, but he kept his private life away from the prying eyes of the media; a larger than life rock star who loved disco, classical music and ballet. He was a restless spirit, a true chameleon who revelled in his own contradictions.
All the different sides of this iconic musician can be found on Freddie Mercury: Messenger Of The Gods - The Singles. All formats released September 2nd 2016.
This was Freddie Mercury's third single from the 1985 'Mr Bad Guy' album - his first solo album. Filmed by Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher, it was shot entirely at Henderson's Nightclub in Munich, Germany, on September 5th and 6th 1985, as part of Freddie's unforgettable 39th birthday celebrations. The single was released in the UK on 2nd September 1985.
