Woodburn Falls/Round Lake Loop Hike Washington
Combined the two hikes located in Lacamas Park, starting at the Lacamas Park Trailhead. Round lake is awsome and hosts fishing for bass, bluegill, and perch. Woodburn falls is fairly unknown and is the only waterfall in the park that isnt controlled by a dam making the water flow 100% natural. The falls is seasonal and is usually dried up from mid june to october. The hike was 2.3 miles roundtrip and 200 ft of elevation change. The second falls shown in the vid (also shown in thumbnail) is called Potholes Falls a.k.a. The Potholes 11-18-11

Premier Retirement Destinations | Vancouver, WA | Fisher Investments [2019]
Have you considered relocating for retirement? In our latest series of premier retirement destinations from Fisher Investments, we take a journey to Vancouver, Washington to determine if it’s one of the best cities to retire in the US.
If you’re considering retiring in Vancouver, WA, you may be interested to hear its good reputation far precedes this video. Meriwether Lewis once called the area “the only desired situation for settlement west of the Rockies.” We think you’ll like it, too. You can enjoy all of the outdoor activities the region has to offer. With the close proximity of Mount Saint Helens and Mount Hood, there is no shortage of hiking, skiing or fishing. Not feeling active? Take a drive along the stunning Columbia River Gorge and enjoy the natural beauty along the river. If you get tired of the regions’ rainy winter weather, sunny Bend, Oregon is only a few hours southeast—perfect for a short getaway.
Portland, Oregon is just a stone’s throw away. Take pleasure in knowing that one of the world’s largest bookstores can keep you entertained during the darkness of winter. If you like beer, go to one of many local breweries to try a variety of different brews. If you’re not feeling like crossing the bridge, Vancouver’s cozy, revitalized downtown also offers many breweries and restaurants to enjoy.
If affordable living is a necessary part of your retirement planning, Vancouver’s median home price is $257,000, so homes tend to be more affordable than most metro areas. Neighboring Portland, Oregon also offers shopping free of sales tax! And bonus: If you become a client with us in the future, Fisher Investments’ campus is just east of Vancouver in Camas, Washington!
What do you think of Vancouver, WA as a retirement destination? Please follow us to see more premier retirement destinations!

OUR WILD PACIFIC-NORTHWEST-WEATHER #2
OUR WILD PACIFIC-NORTHWEST-WEATHER #2 THIS WAS ON KING 105 HD , SEATTLE, A GREAT LESSON TO ALLOF US ABOUT THE DANGERS AND THE DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE IN OUR CLIMATE , EVEN JUST A FEW MILES AWAY, THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST , ESPECIALLY THE STATE OF WASHINGTON , THE STATE OF WASHINGTON HAS A MUCH DIVERSE CLIMATE AS PER THE OLYMPICS AND THE CASCADE MOUNTAIN RANGES. AS WELLAS THE PUGET SOUND AND THE STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA AND THE LOWS THAT GET STUCK JUST OFF THE COAST OF VANCOUVER B.C AND SOPINS IN COLD AIR AND SNOW SHOWERS FROM THE FRAISIER RIVER VALLEY IN BRITISH COLUMBIA JUST ACROSS THE BORDER FROM THE UNITED STATES ABOVE WASHINGTON STATE. THE AIR WRAPPING AROUND BOTH MOUNTAINS AND THE SOUND CAUSE SOME OF THE MOST DIVERSE AND BIZZARE WEATHER THAT IS NOT SEEN IN ANY OTHER PART OF THE COUNTRY.
