STORM KING! Olympic National Park, Washington
Storm King was one of the most treacherous trails I have done! Getting to the top was well worth the struggle though! Beautiful views of Lake Crescent await you at the top. I highly recommend this hike to anyone looking for a bit of a challenge!

Hiking Mount Walker (Olympic Mountains)
We picked a clear January day to hike to the 2805' summit. From the gate to the trailhead, it's about a quarter mile. The trail (Trail 894) then climbs 2000' in 2 miles to the north viewpoint. From there, it's another quarter mile or so to the south viewpoint. We took the road back down (roughly 4 miles) to avoid the icier conditions on the trail. Total hike: approximately 6.5 miles.
